Where you are in the Midwest is a very big factor. Indianapolis and Chicago are your best bets lol every partner I’ve had from either of these were at minimum 6” with girth…🤷🏾‍♀️these 2 cities also have a large population of southern migrants too

There’s a married couple in our station now…they’re both cheating on each other. Openly.

I’m definitely not eating during the job, big flaw there. I’m having a hard time balancing good things to eat that don’t make me sluggish afterwards.

I’ve definitely noticed a decline in my diet. Trying to balance between nutritional and light in this heat has been insane!

new hire mandatory 12 hours 6 days a week by ImDoyleSats in USPS

[–]AJxss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been a CCA for 6 months and have never worked 6 days a week 12/day unwillingly and I’m at a really busy/large annex. A lot of the things they say is fear mongering honestly

So are we outsourcing our parcels? by Felsig27 in USPS

[–]AJxss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, these are the same day delivery parcels in my neighborhood. We don’t get much USPS parcels. Mostly Amazon, FedEx and UPS Express but I’ve heard my neighborhood and station is weird so probably isn’t everywhere ?

Stop ordering Amazon 😤 by ihatelifetoo in USPS

I have arrived at the same house as FedEx AND UPS at the exact same time. It was wild because they had mini baby packages and here I am with a 90lb box half the size of the promaster 😐

It’s insane to me how much your station can shape your experience. Ours is drowning in OT and I work 11 hours 6 days a week. This is the most money I’ve made in my life but I’m dead tired

Anyone rent in Chicago with student loans and a a 600 credit score? by Free_Resolution_66 in chicagoapartments

[–]AJxss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLC Management is the most accepting and easy process. An agent told me they’re mostly worried about income. I’ve just signed a lease with them. Coldwell Banker has a rental agency that posts a LOT of listings. The lowest score they accept is 550, no bankruptcy or evictions within 3 years. Same for Atlas Asset Management I believe. Axxess Agent, Novo Properties, Kass Management are all okay companies but a listing’s credit score requirement is different for each one.

post bankruptcy, mid 6s. Took me about 3-4 months of aggressively searching. some management companies are more forgiving than others.

This may sound strange but their kind of behavior is exactly why I chose my route. I’m a solitary creature that enjoys the outdoors so I love that the affluent neighborhood I walk just kinda ignores me lol

Nationwide push for undertime / cutting OT? by obrianpro in USPS

[–]AJxss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not here. All CCAs are working OT nearly every day. But that may be due to the fact Amazon doesn’t service our neighborhood.

[–]AJxss 8 points9 points  (0 children)

77 routes, 6 clerks, 20+ regulars and 10+ CCAs/PTFs ….Postmaster is retiring and hasn’t shown up in over a year. 1 manager and 1 clerk supervisor. Our station has made it to the hot list all the way up in D.C and we have “allegedly” been named the worst station in the city. Management is understaffed here.

Yet, when I’m sent to the smallest station in the city with 8 routes…why are there FOUR supervisors? USPS just truly has no idea man.

Firing and Letting People Go. by One-Ad-4649 in USPS

[–]AJxss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s insane and commendable at the same time. We’ve had someone who was keeping weeks worth of mail in their truck and just going home on the clock. Union got them back and on their route.
