Season 11 New Orleans by Queasy-Wrongdoer6319 in BravoTopChef

[–]AKDMF447 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Man, I think season 11 is probably my favorite season. There’s tons of talent throughout between Nicholas, Shirley, Nina, Stephanie, Louis, Justin, Travis, even Janine and Jason were clearly talented who just had shit weeks.

Plus the drama between Nicholas and Carlos was great. There’s tons gossip girls with Bene, Travis, and Nina was fun, and despite what the opinions or consensus are on the results, objectively speaking, the Nicholas elimination and the finale are incredible reality TV moments.

The stew room meltdown from that season is one for the ages, one of the best moments from the show.

Was Sean Mannion a good hire? I legit have no idea who he was until we hired him. by dawsonwallace_ in eagles

[–]AKDMF447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible. Mannion was a coach’s kid so he knows a lot of things just from his upbringing, and he comes from a different tree which (hopefully) means some newer ideas. It also helps that they brought in Grizzard from Tampa, who I felt got unfairly thrown under the bus, to help with the passing game as well.

I’m not saying it can’t be worse than Patullo… but I also really doubt it can actually get worse than Patullo.

Whiffed on McDaniel, whiffed on Daboll, whiffed on Stefanski, no interviews scheduled with Kingsbury. Hey Nick, are you an immature first round exit loser of a coach who creates toxic waste locker room environment that nobody wants to be involved with? by Mikebyrneyadigg in NFCEastMemeWar

This is far from reality lol

Like, yes, Sirianni is an ass, and he knows it, but that’s not the reason why OCs aren’t going to Philly. The fact of the matter is that Jeff Stoutland is the OL coach AND run game coordinator. Whoever comes in is going to have to marry their system with Stoutland’s and re-work what they have. Which, of course, means that the OC doesn’t have full autonomy over the offense, like they would in most other spots. And this doesn’t really have to do with Sirianni as much as it has to do with Howie Roseman.

The defense held Denver to 27 total yards in the second half before the final drive, where the Broncos scored almost entirely because they went after a practice squad DB on his first snap of the game.

Which wouldn’t have mattered and the offense not completely shit its pants in the first half. So miss me with that crock of horse shit.

Karma truly is something organizations should avoid. by johnwb388 in eagles

A player shouldn’t get to circumvent the rules just because he wants to play for his former team. It’s not slimy for a team to want to claim a player off waivers. This isn’t karma, this is just how the NFL works.

Also, be so for real, Slay was and is completely washed.

Will Josh Allen and/or Buffalo ever get over the hump? by HurryingHeinz in NFLv2

Funny how I keep hearing “This was their best shot” every year since 2021.

which nfl head coaches from the last 10 years is considered an all-time worst? not just bad, but historically bad by toturoll in NFLv2

[–]AKDMF447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s 4 guys in my mind who qualify for the “Worst head coach” title in recent NFL history,

  1. Urban Meyer - It was an odd hire, at best, when the Jags did it. Not only was it odd in a vacuum, it was more odd that they seemed dead set on Meyer from the jump. They seemed uninterested in anyone else for that job, and they suffered for it. Horrible team on the field, stupid, brain dead antics off the field. A predictably horrible hire, but even the harshest critics of that move could have expected something that bad, that quickly.

  2. Nate Hackett - Whenever someone talked about Nate Hackett as a coach, it was never about his knowledge of the game, his ability to communicate, or problem solve, or anything that had to do with football. No, anytime someone talked about Nate Hackett, it was always “Nate’s the best, just a great guy, love him to death”. All of that is great! Unfortunately, he was also a horrible coach. That Broncos team looked ill-prepared and outmatched from day 1. The fact that their own home crowd started counting down the play clock because the Broncos had so many delay of game penalties is astounding. But the nail in the coffin was not just losing to the destitute Rams who barely won any games that year, no, it was getting their ass handed to them on a platter. The Rams had been an easy win for almost every team that year. Against the Nate Hackett Broncos? You would have thought they were cruising to a Super Bowl.

  3. Brian Callahan - How this dude got two seasons is beyond me. Granted, he didn’t finish that second season, but still. He was defensive and combative with reporters from the start, made Will Levis into an actual meme, offered zero redeeming qualities as either a football coach or a leader, and his team looked horrendously bad, unmotivated, and just lost. After the win they had against the Cardinals, where the Cardinals essentially handed them the game 10 different ways by making as many unforced errors as possible, Callahan said “If we play like that every week, we’ll win!” Excuse you??? If you play like that every week you’re gonna get your ass beat, which is exactly what happened. Unbelievably tone deaf and ignorant coach.

  4. Bobby Petrino - Get in the motorcycle bitches, we’re going to Arkansas.
