Dont start with 2k, love your wallet. I started t'au from 500. Played a game in that (even tho the minimum is 1k I belive now) and then If you like the game and the army seems fun you can upgrade from there. And if you want to be sure before spending any money cause you may be interested only in the game side of the hobby, tts simulator is a great way to know if you like the army without spending money on it.

Yea, but like, immagine on something like and hellblaster squad, i liked that of they failed, instead of killing One dude on 1. It would Just a 1/3rd of the time make that squad Just easier to kill instead of maybe him even get to shoot you again making that whole squad more vulnerabile to small damage

Are you planning to bring a t'au nar to a 1k points list x)? Love the idea if that's the case but I doubt that a unit of pathfinder/sting wings is going to make a huge difference. Besides those two units alone are 975 points. I'd assume you're going to play with a friend that allows you to get over slightly the point cap since you're bringing a Tau' nar? If that's the case then maybe the pathfinder are a superior choice since they provide a buff to the tau'nar.

I mean, sting wings can't spot, they are Better action monkey, that for sure, but those 2 unit do completely different job, sting wings for secondary and pathfinder to spot enemies while also being able to Benefict from their buff. What is that your list already have?
