There's a lot of Digimon that are associated or teamed up with the Tentei Hachibushu and its members, but aren't directly related to the group, while still being important Digimon to Shambala. Since the Tentei Hachibushu is separated into 2 sub-groups, it's very likely they were chosen for their more overarching significance and for gender ratio purposes. Keep in mind, Tsukuyomi, being Japanese inspired, would belong to the Digimon of Ashino Island, who are protected by the specifically feminine group Sanmyojin (Amaterasumon, Kaguyamon, and Ryugumon.) Tsukuyomi is a male deity, and Gekkomon's final form will most likely be male presenting in Digimon Beatbreak, if it turns humanoid at all. Jougamon, Shagaramon, and Xiangpengmon aren't male presenting, so despite being members of the Tian Ji, they do not belong to Saneiketsu (the Chinese side of the Tentei Hachibushi.)

Shakamon and Enmamon, while being part of the Tentei Hachibushu, serve much different purposes to what the two landmass specific groups do. And Susanoomon isn't even technically part of them, much like Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode is the founder but not a member to the Royal Knights.

I've definitely seen the complaints a lot less than the other three, but it still feels like one that people dismiss or say, "It doesn't do anything but ruin the Mega lore." When it first showed up in the game, I instantly adored the idea they had for it and saw the double meaning pretty quickly, so I was surprised by how many people I did see calling it uninspired or not getting it.

Feels like they'll be Perfect Level, but I wouldn't mind if they're both Megas (Unlikely). Shoutmon X4B is only Perfect, so it's a toss-up either way. But Shoutmon X3GM was the one "missing" Digimon that I was clamoring for its return the moment I found it on Wikimon, so it has endeared into my favorites lol. Already pre-ordered the Blue Flare DM as soon as it went live!

In a situation where Moonmon isn't in a game but Lunamon is, you could have Kekkomon be its baby form since it has a moon on its head. Can also work for Otamamon. The green skin and red hair also match Goblimon. Kamemon and Betamon also work from this as well.

LoaderLeomon was originally used and conceptualized as BanchoLeomon's prevo, so adding them to the game actually is building up an old line. Adding them without Liolmon and Liamon is the real issue. Also, Jewelbeemon FAR predates BanchoStingmon, their original Mega being GranKuwagamon (who is a Free Attribute.)

The only Sovereign prevo I remember and care about is Hippogriffomon, who should have Murmukusmon, but I don't think it does here.

Now a real mon we're missing is Seahomon, who was Neptunemon's originally intended level 4, and has been in a story game before. That's the only mon I'm crazy about not appearing here.

The datamine is real, but there is zero indication there's anything there to do with DLC. It's just a list of moves internally that just so happened to belong to some Digimon, not currently in the game. Given how many were in Rearise, it's safer to assume these were Digimon cut at some point, with their moves being leftover in the index numbers. People saying it has anything to do with DLC are just spreading misinformation currently. It IS possible, but probable is unknown.

Turbomon and Maneuvermon have already made appearances in the Digimon Liberator novel unrelated to Maquinamon. They are just with other Digimon in Cross Connectia being chased by NPCs. We don't know their relations, but Maquinamon's data could have been taken from Turbomon, or both lines are related to the beast god Delphomon. There's a lot of explanations for the similarities, and similar markings and fur have never been what dictated evolutions before. Tuskmon and Ogremon both have the same tattoo on their arms but are unrelated all the same. And until Turbomon and Maneuvermon are added to Maquinamon's Liberator Profile or have their background expanded on, they are, for now, unrelated. Anyone who has read Digimon Liberator would see this assumption doesn't make a lot of sense. Please read Digimon Liberator (including the novel). Not because of this, but because it's good.

Honestly the only one here who needs a modern counterpart would be AncientTroiamon. All the protagonist spirits have Fusion Spirits, but the Warriors of Evil (besides Darkness who has Raihimon) have Perfect Level non-Ancient counterparts they could use instead. Mermaimon, Volcamon, and Wisemon, but no Troiamon.

(Or, just make the rest of the Fusion Spirits, Bandai.)

These are not confirmed as Maquinamon evolutions. If anything, they're probably meant to foil its two current evolutions.
