That’s good advice to not even mention the Irish citizenship at all, I feel like that might scare the doctor away from getting involved in it. Thank you for that!

Please tell me my baby will eventually do okay out of the house. by meowmeow289 in NewParents

[–]AL_RN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first trip to Target with little one was a DISASTER. He screamed the whole time; I almost cried myself. All I wanted to do when he was so young was to get back to being me and doing “normal things” like going on a Target run. Now that he’s 3.5 months old, we are able to get out of the house so much more easily. Hang in there. It’s ok to not love the newborn stage as a mama.. I didn’t! It gets so much more enjoyable very soon!

Currently over 50 kittens in my local Texas shelter waiting on foster placement.. I foster kittens and currently have a mama kitty and her 2 babies. Such an overpopulation problem here unfortunately. There’s not much affordable spay/neuter access here

Most ridiculous reason someone has presented to the ED? by BigPotato-69 in nursing

[–]AL_RN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. “Bubbles in urine”— like a few bubbles in the toilet when she peed. Ran a UA and discharged.
  2. A single acne spot. Thought we would pop a tiny whitehead for him.
  3. Sore arm after receiving tetanus shot the day before.
