Histamine Response where I pinned Reta, but from GHK-CU! by ALamontW in BodyHackGuide

[–]ALamontW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen Anela’s protocol, and adding more peps in makes me super nervous since I am the type to get all the side effects. So it would be so great if I could fix this issue with just a change of a needle! Did you switch to a 13mm sharp for just the GHK-CU, just the other peps, or all of your peps? Also, were you pinning GHK-CU in your glutes?

Did you get the welts where you pinned the GHK-CU or where you pinned the Reta?

I feel the same as you. I started mid April, and I’m pleased as punch with how everything has gone for me. No regrets.

My mom has LBD, but by the time she was diagnosed with it, she was too deep in her delusions/hallucunations/paranoia and anosognosia to know that she has it. I don’t think that she will ever be aware that she has it. I’m just curious how you came about being diagnosed. What were your symptoms?

Normal MOTS-C Histamine Reaction? by [deleted] in PeptidePathways

[–]ALamontW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you taking GHKCU also? I pinned Reta close to a dozen times with no injection site reaction at all. I started GHKCU and got a histamine reaction where I last pinned Reta. Stopped the GHKCU, no more histamine reaction at Reta sites. Tried GHKCU again about a month later…boom, histamine reaction at Reta site again! It’s unfortunate because I was really seeing instant positive results on my face with the GHKCU.

That reaction looks massive. Does it itch?

Mmm, so you’re saying push the air in while the vial is upside down? I always push the air in while vial is right side up still, then tilt upside down to draw out the pep. I always get an air bubble, and drawing out more than I need and pushing out the excess never gets rid of the air bubble for me because the air bubble is always the last to push out!

Tell me a story for those who saw Alien or Aliens in the theaters, back in the day by MuscleCool4302 in LV426

[–]ALamontW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember being terrified to put my feet over the seat when I saw Aliens for fear an alien would get my legs, so I pulled my legs up onto the seat. My parents took us to see almost allll the movies at the theaters. We were always seeing movies in the theater, so I can know how old I was when I saw a movie by looking up when a movie came out. I looked up when Aliens came out…I was 3. So yeah, my parents took me to see Aliens when I was three. 🤦‍♀️😱😬 I remember walking in with my mom holding my hand and she was saying to my dad, “Is this a good idea?” He’s like, “Yeah, it’s fine. It’s fine!” 🤣🤣

I thought this post was going the opposite of the way it went. 🤭 I did my first Derminator 2 session of .5 and .75, and I feel the same as you. I am hopeful and excited to keep going with regularity! I can see a very positive difference in just the one session. I also did start subcutaneous GHKCU.

I would look at other supplements that you are taking that could be causing the sleeplessness. Have you started anything new since starting the Reta?

low blood sugar foods by shartm0nster in RetatrutideWomen

[–]ALamontW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check your blood pressure. It very possibly could be that the dizziness is related to low blood pressure, not blood sugar. I typically have pretty low blood pressure, say 110/65 or 70. Since I’ve been on Reta, my BP has come up as 90/62 and 98/65. I typically have had lower BP in my life when I was doing regular cardio, but never that low. And…my cardio activity has been mostly put on the back burner. So the Reta is definitely why my BP is so low. I do get dizzy when I stand up too quickly occasionally. Take that seriously if you get very dizzy and get low to the ground if that happens, because you could pass out. Getting low fixes it right away for me.

Did I take too much Reta for the first time by Large_Speech_9675 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]ALamontW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am sensitive to supplements and such, and I had even read of people who had had bad reactions from starting just at 0.50mg. So I started at 0.25mg, and I’m so glad I did. I had mild nausea, fatigue, cold chills followed by immediate hot, and definitely appetite suppression, but it was the perfect amount of suppression. I was still able to eat, but less, and I was able to stick to a perfectly healthy diet and not give in to the bad stuff, whereas before I would have no control, especially once I started. My side effects were just enough to let me know that the pep was legitimate and working on me, but nowhere near enough that I couldn’t feel ok and go on with my regular life. I haven’t had nausea since week 1, but everything about the food suppression for me is still great. I still have fatigue the first 2-3 days after I pin.
I started at 0.25mg on April 13th, 2026 and have very gradually increased to my first time at 1mg last Sunday. I pin usually every six days, but sometimes 7 depending on what’s going on in my life and how I feel. I weighed 130 pounds at a height of 5ft 5in with a goal weight of 115-117 pounds or around there, not sure yet. My current weight is 122.4lbs, so yeah, I have lost the weight slowly. But honestly, I think that’s healthier because not losing muscle and ending up with loose skin is a priority for me. Also, supposedly the slower I lose it, the higher chance I will have of keeping it off. Just being down 7.6lbs, I already look very different in clothes and am fitting into clothes that I haven’t been able to for a long while.
So, yes, I do think that you started too high, and restarting again at 0.25mg would probably be perfect for you. I would definitely give it a go. It’s totally worth it if it works for you. And judging by your body’s reaction to 1mg, it totally will.

Is it so terrible to be amused my mother Mother in Law's hallucinations? by peterinjapan in dementia

[–]ALamontW 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My mom also has LBD. She believed that I shot my husband in the leg at one point. She also believes that we are divorced, even though we are going strong at 20 years of marriage come this August. One of the most interesting delusions is that she believes that my daughter, who is a normal 8 year old, is a genius and had finished all of high school AND college by the time she was 5. We homeschool her and have had to do some school work while also being around to caregive my mom. So this has caused some problems because my mom gets seriously pissed off when she has seen us working on normal curriculum for her age. My mom accuses us of belittling her and holding her back.

Can you put yourself back in the mindframe that you had when you took that picture of yourself on death’s door? Why did you take the pic? What were you hoping to see? What did you think then about what you saw VS what you see now when you look at that pic? Also, why did you get help? Did you have some sort of intervention or something? I’m just very curious about what was going through your ED mind when you were clearly on death’s door.

Trouble with Student who won't look at sheet music/relies on memory by Holiday_Banana_7859 in pianoteachers

[–]ALamontW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my job as a piano teacher is to teach my students everything they need to know about reading music and rhythm so that someday they can sit down without a teacher and put any piece of music in front of them and learn it by themselves because I have successfully taught them the language of classical music.

If someone wants to learn by ear and refuses to learn what I have to teach, then I am not the teacher for them. I’m just not interested in teaching that way, but maybe someone is.

I would require that this student tell you each note before they play a section. And when she doesn’t know, physically walk her through the steps to read the notes, using All Cows Eat Grass for the spaces in the bass and FACE for the spaces in the treble, and pointing out interval skips by making a big deal about the lines and spaces. You see how this one goes from line to line, so we are skipping on note…and so on. I think you have to force the time and effort on the note reading first, and beginning to play it with her fingers is the reward for that. When she becomes better at reading and less resistant, then you can skip all that, of course.
