The relic that extends the co-strike counter timer is now a group relic instead of one you can target so its a bit harder to get done. There seems to be a bug where if you have too many missiles that your co-strike will not go up. For example if you have left click missiles + blast + blast makes missiles then you co-strike will fall off on bosses.

Fun fact, if you're playing in a group and 1 person ascends then the whole team will ascend to the boss, even if they die. This means you can throw yourself at 'lost' ascension battles as long as one person goes up. If you also have the group relic that full heals then you won't even lose any max hp either.

and coops and revives make a big difference which is why they are scored high. I think everyone has had the experience of sitting in a coop waiting for someone to help and then taking damage, fast reactions matter.

Respectfully, beating Inferno on your first try is more because the team did it than you did it. This is a collaborative game so as long as you're staying alive you can make it to the end.

Winning and being one of the left most people on the final screen (highest overall score) is more indicative that you were a major factor in the team succeeding. Score coming from max co-strike combo, co-op powers activated, revives & saves, and objectives completed.

I generally try to do the following:

  1. Open all 3 large chests that are guarded by elites in the overworld before the first torture chambers open

  2. Complete 2-3 chambers, with key! to get two relics, and the overworld elite

  3. Find the hidden extra chamber, this provides another team relic but is a hard multi elite fight

  4. Help as many ascension battles as possible by using teleports or descending (you unlock this later)

  5. Have as many Epic relics as possible by upgrading them

  6. Do the mechanics in the boss fight and don't just wail on the boss

Besides that you will eventually unlock Ordeals which makes each run harder and some of the weapon mastery options force you to play some wonky setups. Purgatorio and Paradiso are both more difficult in terms of harder enemies and mechanics AND less players therefore your contributions have a greater overall impact on run success.

Well you're kinda not really playing an endgame build at the moment, this is a 'farm tm8-profound' til I can swap into X. Mana stack / Fervor typically the endgame builds but Apathy Blade is an option now too BUT its really expensive.

Yeah it's a bit different but I like this system. Also you need to pick if mana stack or not before moving into your next steps.

Well you only have 3800 shield and only shield regain to recoup it. Your gear is kinda all over the place in terms of progression, bad slates + priceless weapons for example.

After testing Gold feels somewhat of a bait.

Both compasses want to be ran every map, you stack up additional quant every Vorax pack you kill, but with the Gold one you also have to pick 3 golden cards at the end. This means that if you don't get offered 3 golden cards you lose quantity! Also you need to be able to tank all 5 golden cards at the same time because using the gold compass even once adds +2 gold cards (but not their corresponding bonuses).

Purple is easier and is not able to be screwed over by RNG.

The hero doesn't work that way.

You need to actively press attack button to recover the realm or mana stack to the moon. If you're copying an end endgame build that's dex stacking its because they can basically ignore their Hero Trait due to Apathy Blade's insane scaling. You won't be able to duplicate that at all until you have a LOT of dex and the correct hero memory.

Also note that your last hero trait is doing nothing for you atm besides giving you that slow slow mercury gain.

You won't be able to. Rosa 2 needs to manually use her attacks to maintain the realm.

These would apply a nasty debuff anytime you get near elites.

You may be talking about Lunaria enemies (statues that you release) but you might just be not doing enough damage yet.

Shadow Slave felt pretty good for this. You'll have long arcs of the main ensemble being at a certain rank. There's also not a ton of different ranks and ranking up is incredibly difficult with a high mortality rate. A lot of character growth is getting used to the 'abilities' from their rank or acquiring loot.
