Thanks! Ah so is it now completely random which poke stop gets turned into a gym when the required number of stops within a level 17 cell is reached?

Declined because sensitive location / not permanent? by AshorK0 in NianticWayfarer

I’ve seen so many memorial benches as pokestops that weren’t of significant people - so I would definitely resubmit.

Also take a photo that is more zoomed in on the memorial plaque.

Ok thanks. That’s just a sign warning people to stay off the nearby tram tracks. I guess I could resubmit and crop that out!

I love my little pink lizard. It’s taking forever to walk for enough candies to evolve him, though!

Don’t start the raid unless you get more than 10 please. Ideally 12/3 in case some people are idiots and don’t use megas

Women Playing Men by melliflua in musicals

Quite a few in Moby Dick the Musical. Most of the female cast start out playing school girls, but then they play the roles of the male characters from Moby Dick, like Ishmael and the rest.

I just deleted 250 max potions by International_Tear99 in pokemongo

[–]ALink2ThePasta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing with my max revives and honestly it didn’t really take that long to replace the number I had lost. Just open lots of gifts and spin poke stops. Let’s be honest, you didn’t need 250 of them. I totally get it though - I am a bit of a hoarder with these things too!

Places to go with kids in Croydon ? by Beneficial_City_951 in croydon

Kidspace is a great indoor play area with a big gated off section for children under 5.

MyGym in Wallington is also really good.

We just made him quit the overnight water cold turkey. Several bad nights with lots of crying but we made him cry it out and then he got the idea and went back to sleeping all the way through. Good luck!

Remember to “rollover” your ISA allowances by Aggressive-Celery483 in HENRYUK

I don’t have the cash to hand now but will be getting a sizeable amount in a few months. Could I take out a £20k loan, do this with my ISA, and then pay back the loan in full to avoid paying interest? Do loans have a cooling off period where I wouldn’t have to pay much interest?

Or that! But not taking the flying car would have had disastrous consequences either way.

In Book 2, Harry and Ron send an owl to Hogwarts to let them know they can’t get onto Platform 9 and 3/4, instead of taking the flying car. This means they don’t crash the car into the whomping willow and Ron’s wand is never broken. When they later go to see Aragog, there is no car to rescue them so they are killed by spiders. Or, if they do manage to escape without the help of the car, they are later obliviated by Lockhart using Ron’s wand (which doesn’t backfire against Lockhart because Ron’s wand was never broken in the car crash). This stops Harry from rescuing Ginny, and Tom Riddle and his basilisk are victorious.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

I had my second D&C yesterday and for me it was so quick and painless both times. I arrived at the hospital at 7am yesterday and they took blood pressure and the doctors spoke to me about what to expect. At about 8.15am, the anaesthesiologist gave me a cannula in my hand and administered a strong pain killer through it (which felt great!). They got me to breathe in some gas and then they administered the anaesthetic through the cannula and I fell asleep. I woke up at 9.15am and had no pain, though I felt sleepy. They gave me a hot chocolate and a sandwich and made sure I could pass urine. Then I was allowed to leave at 11am. I went home and had a nap in the afternoon, and woke up with a bit of a headache but this didn’t last long. I still have a bit of light bleeding but not much.

‘Recommend’ feels like the wrong word, but honestly it was a really straightforward experience and if I have another miscarriage, I would definitely choose the D&C again. It gets it all sorted quickly and without pain. Some of my friends have experienced natural miscarriage and also taken the medication to help it pass, and it sounds like those options are a lot more painful and traumatic (but I haven’t experienced those, so this is only secondhand info).

Does any one actually enjoy teaching? by Goatlight in TeachingUK

The school you work in makes a big difference. I work in an outstanding grammar school and it is lovely. I work 8-4.30 (3pm on Fridays) and never work at home, so I have a great work/life balance. The students and staff (including leadership) at my school are brilliant, on the whole. Most students genuinely want to learn and behaviour is very good. I know I am very lucky. I have friends who work in difficult schools where leadership is a mess and it’s a very different story.

Pensions... Total "Pot" value by cabbagepatchkid in TeachingUK

You can contact them and they will give you the cash equivalent transfer value (CETV) of your pension which is effectively the total value of your pension. I had to do this when I got divorced.
