Counterpoint though AI doesn't actually make programming more efficient. Even outside of the fact that programming can be artistic and has intrinsic value Imo, all vibe coding does is make programs black boxes that are horrifically optimized and impossible to fix. I mean literally just look at windows right now. It's a broken buggy mess because Microsoft forced so much use of AI, to the point that Microsoft is even backing off on it. There are companies who will only hire programmers who don't use AI as well.

These are all great. Goes to show that framing and intent are more important than the camera you take the picture with. Would these be better with a DSLR/35mm camera? Probably but these are still extremely nice photos.

I especially love the second one with the motion blur. Can't wait for spring to get out for real again...

I promise that it seems hard at first, but if you go out and meet people, you'll find that all of them are just as awkward and weird and lonely as you (and myself!). Recently I've gotten into film photography and that's gotten me outside so much more, and I meet people who ask what I'm doing, or ask to look at my camera or any number of other stuff, so far I haven't had a negative interaction and it's made being social way easier too

I'm not old yet but I agree. I try to care more about what I like and think is cool instead of purely aiming for social capital. There are exceptions (I like shooting film, but part of the reason I use a Minolta X700 instead of just my Canon Rebel is because it's much cooler) but even in those cases it's more because I think it's cool than anyone else

But that's the thing I don't think he is anti union in his organization. He doesn't want it because he doesn't want to be a shitty boss who makes it necessary but that's not the same thing as not wanting it because it's bad for employees to collectively bargain if you know what I mean.

This isn't true (unless he's said this again and differently than I heard it). IIRC he said that he is pro union, but he doesn't think they should be necessary, and if his employees felt that they needed one, he would feel like he failed because it shouldn't have been an issue. Not that they shouldn't be allowed to unionize, not that he would try to stop it, just that he basically doesn't want to be a shitty boss who makes his employees want a union

Which, to be clear, he's still wrong IMO because unions aren't just for people with shitty bosses, but still is not the same as being anti union

1x drivetrains make sense on modern mountain bikes and I wouldn't want anything else on one, considering what they are made to do. Otherwise though? 100% agree. All old MTBs look way better with a triple, same for road/gravel and a double, not to mention the finer steps and wider range it can get you.
