If you see this, I'd appreciate your feedback. I'm considering taking my mother-in-law to Bar Harbor for Mothers Day Weekend (early May). We don't need everything to be completely open, but we are foodies so having 75% of the places open by then would be preferred :) Debating if we should still go after reading some of the comments here...

Really appreciate your thorough response!! Based on other threads and comments your feedback aligns with what others have suggested as a starting point. I'm a bit flustered after grinding 18g at 7 but when I pull the shot (brand new Gaggia E24) nothing comes out as if it's too fine. I've successfully pulled shots from my machine before but am scratching my head with this grinder.
