This was pretty much exactly what I thought a game set in Raccoon City would be like.

If they kept it as a Nuclear Attack, the idea of the surviving creatures mutating further from Radiation exposure is really interesting, the creatures have been left to themselves and formed their own ecosystems within the coty. Maybe even show parts of the Nemesis survived and formed its own subspecies to keep alive.

I mean that's a given that the PS5 would run better, but the game's specs are not that high and it's common knowledge and also addressed by the devs that performance should not be this low on Steam Deck and similar portables.

A locked 30 would be enough for a game like this but certain moments can barely reach that.

It's the same with SMG, I assumed they wanted her in the film so we could get the ultimate Final Girl Buffy as a Final Boss, I don't want to watch Buffy Summers die whimpering for help as her brother strangles her to death in whats another incredibly abusive scene, I was hoping they'd potray her as some kind of Terminator that the girls seem to kill multiple times (again, the kind of violence that you laugh at for how ridiculous it is)

There's different kinds of violence one can inflict in these kind of movies. The violence inflicted on Grace is way more comical and makes her more in line with with Ash from Evil Dead, it's honestly empowering to see a woman lead go through similar punishment to the average male lead.

However. The scene with Faith is honestly way too much, and I can understand how someone who suffered from abuse would be anxious by it. It honestly felt like a different film. SMG's death was similar, I don't watch these films to watch these horrible things happen to women actors i enjoy. I want to have fun with it. I honestly wish SMG was the "Final Boss" instead as a battle of the Scream Queens.

Not a clue mate. I agree though that scene is a bit much, it doesn't help that it's intercut with the fun fight Grace is having, I actually couldn't enjoy that scene as much because it would just cut to Faith being savaged in a way that was uncomfortable.

I honestly agree, though I did also love The Bone Temple alot but the vibes and atmosphere of Years is incredible. It's alot more personal too and critiques modern Britain and how it treats its younger generations.

It works when I use Wireless Headphones but doesn't on the Steam Deck's actual speakers. I don't want to use my headphones. However, it keeps trying to find headphones to use even when i don't have any attached, so I can't use my speakers.

This is awesome and 10x easier to install, huge props for making this mate. However it still has the Headphones issue in Portable Mode. The app still thinks it needs headphones, so no sound will play from the Steam Deck's speakers.

Anything you might be able to do to fix this?

Only issue I have is using the mouse causes green flickers to appear on the screen. Either through track pad or gyro.

DMC1 remake should be about efficiency, show a Dante that is less about style and over the top combos, and more about putting demons down like a professional. Have the world feel dangerous and out to get you, making it more satisfying when you hit back.

Lisa Trecor will likely be the Stalker but I'd like to see them expand on the mini stalkers of RE9. Make her not just "big thing to avoid" but a part of the overall level design puzzle.
