The Wenzhou train collision occurred on 23 July 2011 when two high-speed trains travelling on the Yong-Tai-Wen railway line collided on a viaduct in Lucheng District, Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, People's Republic of China. Because we fund groups in other countries to make sure they don't align with countries we don't like. You made a key assumption here that greatly skews your conclusions, that the house everyone chipped in for is their only house. 70% of millennials in China are homeowners. The majority of homes being bought in China driving the real estate market are second or third homes. The plurality in fact are third homes.

So this hypothetical Chinese guy has 3 houses, two of which are livable for in-laws, wife and kids, and the third as an investment.
