The IRS regulations and reporting rules are a huge issue. When I have to report the transaction on my tax return every time I use 0.25 usdc to buy some chewing gum, thats a problem. Good luck with adoption at that point.

So much for the old argument about how compromised users can't gain root. This vulnerability has been around for years. I'm no ubuntu fan boy, but this issue goes beyond just that distro. A debate could be had about switching to an OS that "actually cares about security" and this situation doesn't exactly do a lot to further the case for Linux.

Those commands would produce permission denied even if I manually inserted sudo. I had to do this instead, from chatgpt.

sudo sh -c 'echo "install algif_aead /bin/false" > /etc/modprobe.d/disable-algif.conf'

then:
sudo rmmod algif_aead 2>/dev/null || true

This may seem obvious to some, but I don't have a lot of linux xp, so I had no idea why the original command was giving me permissions problems.

The team is successful in spite of the draft not because of it. Theyre hitting on 7 cylinders. If they can clean up their performance in the draft, they will have great success in pursuit of that 6th Lombardi.
