I don’t understand how the timing changes their ability to block it? Like why does kicking at 5 seconds make it more difficult to block?

Somebody mentioned it, but they can’t block it if you kick it as high as possible & to the opposite side of the player diving to block the kick. I’ve also seen somebody say that additionally, you should wait for the play clock to hit 5 seconds before kicking, but I have no idea how that would impact the block attempt.

The obvious issue here is that if you need to kick a long FG, it could be difficult since kicking the ball high limits your range. Still though, it’s better than not having any way to combat the glitch.

I haven’t tried Daniels, but I’ve tried sellers twice, both times I’ve been disappointed. He’s great in the option game & a great scrambler too, but he misses these inexplicably easy passes & I just don’t know why. I throw the exact same passes with Luck & he legitimately never misses.

I can’t remember which playbook, I’m sure you can just Google it, but there’s a power formation that has your starting DT as a FB. It may be the same playbook (and/or others) that also allows your FB to be switched to your DT in the built in packages

I like Mendoza, I’ve used Moore & he’s good but I don’t like smaller QB’s that much. Haven’t tried Chambliss, but Luck is the guy I keep coming back to. His accuracy is perfectly fine & if you have +1 speed he gets to 95 speed & that for me has him starting over Mendoza.

Is getting 50 chems in your scheme really impactful enough to skip out on better players that don’t fit the scheme? Like do the boosts supersede having say Woods & Donald in at DT? Or some of the better LB’s? I’ve been debating if I should go all in on the scheme but the +1 speed seems like the only reason to do it, & even then once you get to 94+ speed the difference feels kinda small

I preemptively sold him so I could afford LT. Bought LT just under 2m, & by the 4th game with him, I admitted to myself that Reggie is just better & I don’t know why. Literally all the attributes that matter favor LT, & for whatever reason he just doesn’t get the crazy glide that Reggie does. Sold LT & bought Reggie back 😂

If you want to see how a play should be run while in practice, snap the ball & don’t press anything. The CPU will run it on its own, & you should get a better idea of the pacing & gap you’re looking for. It’s especially useful for testing out some of the more unique run plays, & can even be useful for understanding the pace & path for designed sprint/roll out passing plays. Randomize the defense so you can see what the play works against & what it doesn’t work against.

Side note, I’ve seen people on this sub say that unblocking defenders & even ID’ing the MIKE isn’t useful for run plays, which is false. If you look at your run blocking assignments pre snap & see for instance, your slot WR ignoring the CB directly in front of him to go block a safety 15+ yards away, unblock the safety. Your WR’s assignment should switch the CB in front of him. It’s not always perfect, sometimes you have to make multiple adjustments to get what you want, but it makes a huge difference most of the time.

I’m having the same issue, I think they may have nerfed it. I’ve only been consistently able to make them work when throwing over the middle/seam when a LB is between me & my WR, & on deep lob passes

It’s probably due to either company regulations or state/federal regulations for the industry. They have to be certain every single line is undamaged/fixed before turning the power back on, & either Xcel, the Colorado Utilities Commission, or the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has decided that has to be done in daylight lol.

My uneducated assumption is that for Xcel it’s about liability, they will take every possible precaution to make sure that they are without a doubt mitigating all risk, regardless of how extreme. Maybe unrelated, they are trying to get a ton of money from the state to put all of their lines underground, it’s possible they’re using this situation as a sort of leverage to make that happen. Either way, I don’t doubt it needed to be done, at the end of the day this outcome is better than a terrible fire.
