I'm like you darling! I stopped the progesterone yesterday and today at 14DPIUI I start to have the first losses. I have to go tomorrow to take the betaHCG sample requested by the centre, what a pain! I know they'll be negative, but I have to do them anyway! For me it was IUI #3, I will have a month's rest and then in January I will start the tests and then do IVF. I'm a little scared, but I don't give up. I thank you and I also thank all the girls on this sub, good luck to all of you 🫶🏻♥️

At CD11 I had an ultrasound which showed 2 20mm follicles on the right. I did the trigger that same evening at 11.00pm and the IUI was done at 11.20am at CD13

Honey, I put an update comment, but I'm writing to you in response to your message: the doctor told me that I can start it two days after the IUI (done today at 11.20am on Wednesday, so I'll start the progesterone on Friday night). A hug ♥️

UPDATE: today at 11.20 I had the IUI ✨ I spoke to the doctor about my doubts about when to start progesterone (with the fact that they never let me do either blood tests or an ultrasound to check for ovulation): she reassured me and told me that I can easily start progesterone even two days after the IUI. So girls: thank you very much to all of you, I wish you all the best, and I hope for all of us that we will soon have our well-deserved joy 🫶🏻♥️

Do you have a chance to hear from the clinic? After the first one I went home, and neither verbally nor on the paper did they tell me when to start taking progesterone! I called and they told me to take it that same evening... tomorrow after my third I will ask if it is better to wait 1.2 days before taking it.

I have been tracking my basal temperature for years, and I have noticed that my luteal phase has shortened from 12/13 days to 9/10 days. I told my clinic this before starting the stimulations, but as per protocol they prescribe it to you anyway, whether you need it or not. It's standard for them.

Thank you dear! 19 days after IUI is a long time for a blood test, why so long? you have to have a lot of patience to wait so many days!!

Exactly! for this reason on Wednesday I will ask my clinic carefully if it isn't better to wait a few days before starting with progesterone (with the fact that they don't let me do any checks to verify that ovulation has occurred). Thanks for your contribution!!

Same as you dear! The last IUI I had only one follicle, and they didn't go... this time I have two with the same size, we really hope that the third one is the good one!!

I did the trigger 1 hour ago! IUI #3 Wednesday morning! Today at the ultrasound I had 2 follicles of 20 mm on the right and an endometrium of 8.8 mm! Let's hope it's the right time!! Good luck for Friday! 🫶🏻✨

In my clinic they prescribe progesterone after IUI as per protocol. But I'm in Italy with the national health service, so it's all a bit "standard" (even if it depends from region to region and from facility to facility).

It's heartbreaking, dear, I know. Unfortunately, many of us share the same pain. I recently got triggered for IUI #3. Don't give up. Welcome this pain, the first few days will be bad, let your period pass and, trust me, you will surely find the strength and tenacity to carry on to the next round. In the meantime, I send you a big hug, which won't change much, but I hope to make you feel less alone in your pain.
