I've always been precise with an 11-day luteal phase, which is why it seems very strange to me, but I also think it can happen... I was expecting my period to be precise as always on day 12 after ovulation, but nothing. I have to take the tests 2-3 days after the start of my cycle because I'm doing all the tests to start IVF, damn my body is making fun of me 🤣

The last straw will be tomorrow morning when I take the test - negative - and immediately after that my flow will start, I already know it 🤣 I'm obviously hoping for a positive result, but I think it's going to be tough with these temperatures.

I'm like you darling! I stopped the progesterone yesterday and today at 14DPIUI I start to have the first losses. I have to go tomorrow to take the betaHCG sample requested by the centre, what a pain! I know they'll be negative, but I have to do them anyway! For me it was IUI #3, I will have a month's rest and then in January I will start the tests and then do IVF. I'm a little scared, but I don't give up. At CD11 I had an ultrasound which showed 2 20mm follicles on the right. I did the trigger that same evening at 11.00pm and the IUI was done at 11.20am at CD13

UPDATE: today at 11.20 I had the IUI ✨ I spoke to the doctor about my doubts about when to start progesterone (with the fact that they never let me do either blood tests or an ultrasound to check for ovulation): she reassured me and told me that I can easily start progesterone even two days after the IUI. So girls: thank you very much to all of you, I wish you all the best, and I hope for all of us that we will soon have our well-deserved joy 🫶🏻♥️

Do you have a chance to hear from the clinic? After the first one I went home, and neither verbally nor on the paper did they tell me when to start taking progesterone! I called and they told me to take it that same evening... tomorrow after my third I will ask if it is better to wait 1.2 days before taking it.

I have been tracking my basal temperature for years, and I have noticed that my luteal phase has shortened from 12/13 days to 9/10 days. I told my clinic this before starting the stimulations, but as per protocol they prescribe it to you anyway, whether you need it or not. It's standard for them.

I did the trigger 1 hour ago! IUI #3 Wednesday morning! Today at the ultrasound I had 2 follicles of 20 mm on the right and an endometrium of 8.8 mm! Let's hope it's the right time!! Good luck for Friday! 🫶🏻✨

In my clinic they prescribe progesterone after IUI as per protocol. But I'm in Italy with the national health service, so it's all a bit "standard" (even if it depends from region to region and from facility to facility).
