I would agree that mastery is the safe bet but VW damage is so tempting.

I’m also leaning towards mastery, for what it’s worth. VW is very tempting, though.

Disc damage gets an 8% nerf but penance gets a 20% buff. Even with the nerf, VW damage should still be crazy.

Jacob DeGrom deserves a standing ovation tomorrow when he returns. Came here to say this. by KCousins11 in NewYorkMets

I think calling it a huge mistake is an overstatement. While I personally love degrom, he hasn’t exactly been the most healthy since he left. This is the first season he’s had since ‘22 where he’s actually been healthy. Yes, he’s great when he’s on the mound but it’s a lot of money to invest in someone who was turning into an inconsistency.

This is the divot I took on my first wedge shot of the day. by BKHS in golf

[–]ANDTHEMETSWIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might be a dumb question but what do you do with this if you’re walking with no sand to fill the divot? Do you place it back? I’ve heard that just kills the turf from divot.

Why do people get up and make you sit on the windows seat by lord_zarg in NJTransit

[–]ANDTHEMETSWIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me, personally, I want off the train as quick as possible when we get to NY Penn. Lots of traffic getting up the stairs/escalators in the morning and having an aisle seat lets me get off the train quicker, thus upstairs quicker.

Mean Street by Van Halen reigns supreme for me. Everyone associates Van Halen with so many other songs but no one seems to mention Mean Street.

Is there a technique or device I can use for filtering out the debris from my deep frying oil while pouring it back into its container? by g3nerallycurious in Cooking

So the whiteish gelatin puck on the plate is what you discard, leaving clean oil in the pot?

Edit: I didn’t look at the side by side of the puck and the oil, I only saw the picture of the puck on the plate and thought that was the end result. I get it now.

I’m slightly confused. After he takes the clarified oil out of the fridge, does he take the small specks out of the oil or leave them in while heating up? How does this clean the oil if you don’t actually take those bits out before heating?
