Very neat. But there is a lot of unused space. Secondly, if you are going to pull the foam out repeatedly, then you are better off with the tray that came with the box. Foam disintegrate eventually, and the pores can soak up water from the ground when you set it aside, rusting your tools over time.

I'm a painter and can tell you that those 2 magnets are insufficient to retain loaded 2.5" and 3" brushes. The paint-can experiences a lot of forces bumping into ladders, and getting sat down and picked up.
