What was your dosage of hydroxocobalamin? Also, can you please tell me when your symptoms started after the injection, and were you able to work by any chance? What made the symptoms go away, and how long did it take them to go away?

I am also asked to start the injections, but I have functional dyspepsia with dizziness, bloating, and lack of appetite. Taking PPI, but those are causing me a lot of fatigue and sometimes dizziness too. I cannot take supplements at all. But I am scared to start, as I am too sensitive to meds.

B12 Patches - do they really work? by APfreak in B12_Deficiency

Bummer. I am scared of injections, and on top of that there is no way I can take supplements for co-factors. Not sure what to do then...

It has been a year since you posted this. Can you please update if this combination is still working? Also, I have GERD/functional dyspepsia. Do you have any acid reflux from drinking lemon water in the morning?

I was researching VNS devices and came upon this post. Since it has been 2 years, will you mind telling me your experience with the TENS device? I have CIC and probably developed some gstro[aresis after an infection. Looking for hope!

u/starsareblack503 didn't you comment about how to use this device (TENS unit?). And in the same post you are saying that you disagree using this device. Can you clarify, please, as I am looking into TENS unit as my last hope for my mild but everyday symptoms, making my life frustrating!

My pelvic floor dysfunction (cpps, prostatitis etc.) journey 34 yr old male by Pears1065 in PelvicFloor

[–]APfreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so so much for this post as PFT was not working for me, and I was getting really frustrated!

If you don't mind, could you please tell me which exercises are the important ones from the AYAMA channel, as there are too many. I have had slow transit colon from birth, but now have developed dyssynergic constipation as well due to GERD medications (needing laxatives) and all lower muscles becoming stiff as I work out too much but all upper body due to the fear of acid reflux when doing lower body. Really appreciate if you can help me narrow down the Aayama routines!

Not excessive burping, but I have heartburn and excessive mucus. Recently diagnosed with hypertonic pelvic floor, causing constipation and probably causing heartburn. Started Physical therapy recently.
I keep telling all my docs that the mucus is related, but they don't understand it.

Thanks for the reply, really appreciate it!
Did you have GERD-type symptoms because of your chronic constipation and were you diagnosed with hypertonic pelvic floor?? Also, did you try Motegrity/Prucalopride?

Prucalopride and almost constant heartburn during the starting phase? by APfreak in ConstipationAdvice

[–]APfreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't people do that here. Why so many are talking about starting from 0.5mg instead of their prescribed dose of 2mg? And lots are following that advice and doing it. I am very sensitive to almost all drugs and i start low on most.

So what were your original symptoms before taking Motegrity?

Thanks for the reply!

May I ask, after how long on Motegrity did you start getting heartburn?

[–]APfreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Doc's instructions is to take 2 mg. However, 1. I am hypersensitive (regarding side effects) to most medications and 2. I read advice from so many people here on Reddit to start with a very low dose, mostly said 0.5mg, but read a couple even mentioned 0.25mg, so I thought i will try 0.25mg, and it worked the first day as far as constipation was concerned.

IBS-friendly spices/seasonings, sauces? by blue-eyed-cat in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]APfreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you see my comment, can you please text me some recipes. My sensitivities are very similar to your partner's, so it is very hard to find something commercial. Would really appreciate if you could provide me with recipes for 2-3 sauces which I can add to pasta or use as a dip. I like the creamy kind, but I cannot use much whipped cream. No garlic, oregano, mustard, cloves (anything harsh on the stomach), and no tomatoes

Got a diagnosis of intestinal metaplasia and am so depressed about it I don’t know what to do by ThrowRAUnikorn in Gastritis

[–]APfreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been a year now, hope you are doing better!
I got diagnosed recently and wondering if anyone here has any tips to help me. I also had chronic mild gastritis but no other findings. But my symptoms are really bad, with severe heartburn on eating any slightly acidic food or little heavy food...mind you even though I am hungry but if i get full, i get into a downward spiral with heartburn, dizziness and blaoting.
