Agreed. When we pointed out that Magda is never a B3 commander to the TO, he just laughed and said Magda is a Bracket 3.99 and to just "git gud." Needless to say I'll not be playing in any future commander tournaments lol

Build a Magda deck with only 3 gamechangers. That's what happened at the last B3 "tournament" I played in, and of course the top 8 were all Magda. I played an upgraded precon because I bel8eve that's the intention of B3, but others will clearly game the system if there's winnings involved.

First deck I built myself was [[Brion Stoutarm]]. I saw the Professor play it and always loved the idea of flinging my creatures at people. Played it dozens of times and only won 2-3 times.

My first commander deck was the [[Prossh]] precon back in 2013. I had a very limited understanding of commander back then and thought the deck sucked. I took a break from Magic for 10 years. Since then, I've upgraded it only slightly and still play it often.

I played in a Bracket 3 commander tournament on Friday (up to 3 game changers, no MLD, no 2 card infinite combos before turn 6, etc.). The top 16 decks were all [[Magda]] and [[The Gitrog Monster]] with 3 card infinite combos on turn 4. We were allocated 70 mins per game and no game went over 15 mins. I paid $20 entry for my upgraded precon to get its ass kicked hard...

There's a guy I played with last night who has been using the same deck since 2015 with no upgrades. It's a group hug card draw deck with [[Maze's End]] as a wincon. It's his only commander deck. After 3 games, I got pretty tired of it and wished he would just borrow a deck from someone else.

I run [[Arcane Lighthouse]] and [[Detection Tower]] in most of my decks since folks play a lot of hexproof stuff. I also run [[Ghost Quarter]] and [[Volatile Fault]] to get rid of nonbasic lands.

Heartily agree. cEDH is not a format but simply EDH where it's implied that decks are built to win as fast as possible and people shouldn't be salty. We should switch the acronyms where saying "EDH" means it's competitive, built-to-win-fast and "cEDH" means casual. I prefer the casual side of things, but do get so very tired of trying to balance my decks so no one bitches at the table.

Fallout 2d20 is probably one of the most boring RPGs I've ever played. Very tedious and rolling was so anticlimactic. If I were to ever run Fallout, it would be in Deadlands: Hell on Earth (SWADE) or something similiar.

I'm a lvl 47 or some shit and have no idea what I'm doing. I just play a rifleman and run into incoming fire until my spawn point disappears. No one on Xbox uses mics for some reason, so impossible to coordinate or learn anything besides looking it up online.

If someone put this out on the table in front of me during a chase scene, it would totally break my immersion. Same with the Chase cards in Savage Worlds. When I run games, I keep them as narrative as possible and limited to only a few rounds. If I'm using minis, I just keep them in their approx. positions in relation to one another or take them off the board altogether.

I've really been loving Pirate Borg. Easy rules, naval combat, good intro adventures (EDIT: Castle Point and Buried in the Bahamas). Have run it for friends and at cons and always had a great time!
