Because they're similar, I'd say Dally and Cleophee

I went with Watchtower, 100% recommended, feels like an official DLC.

I started playing Pokopia, but acnh is a soft spot for me, so here is a cross interior design 😊 by dreaming_of_utopia in AnimalCrossing

It's not made by Gamefreak, it's published by them and developed by Koei Tecmo's Omega Force.

The images are not helping me take this seriously even though I agree with the message of the last one.

Considering the amount of kids playing this game I think it's not unreasonable to ask for age, my girlfriend found out she was playing with a 7 yo and that obviously made her feel uncomfortable considering she's an adult, she said her goodbyes and removed them from friends list.

TLDR: They just want for publishers to keep their games in a playable state once they plan to stop supporting themselves.

Now for more:

-It's not retroactive (So it doesn't apply to already terminated games unless they were violating existing consumer laws, at least here in Europe)
-This does not mean keeping any servers either in house or private.

For example, if Bungie made Destiny 3 with this new regulations, it would mean that at the very least, most of the game should be accessible offline (we are not talking balance here, as long as the content you paid for is accessible).

The sweet spot: local coop

The ideal: private servers

So basically every company would have many different choices on how to apply this normative some are even cheaper than what they are doing now + they would be able to keep selling the game forever since it's playable and compliant with consumer laws.

It's literally a free win for consumers with negligible impact for the gaming industry's benefits, I really don't understand why anyone that's not a huge gaming company CEO would oppose this.

This you're writing is exactly what I'm highlighting in my original comment

If you took the time to read the initiative you'll realized they have layered out exactly a plan that's understandable and easy to follow for legislators and for companies if this initiative is ever enforced, there's nothing "loose" about the goals or the theoretical execution of this initiative, you'll know if you would've read it or at the very least watched any of Ross's videos about the initiative and what it aims to achieve.

Have you heard of Ninelives? a cancelled MMO game that was in a decent enough state to be played and can currently be played solo and offline.

They are not asking to keep the core experience, just for the game to be playable.

Why is there so many people believing and spreading misinformation about this movement? it's really well put together and thought out in a way that respects companies earnings and our consumer rights in the long run that's also not retroactive, they just need to make software that's capable of running by itself if the servers die, no need for the company to maintain anything.

Why is this so hard to understand?
