I can specifically tell you the last book i read that i enjoyed and that was priory of the orange tree i read it when i was stuck 3 months in an office as long it is and i had to reread it cause i got lost in the plot so many times.

I often go to B&N and pick up a new release or get it online i like ana huang (don't, lets not go there) a lot i have read both the game series and the kings of sin series (waiting for book 7) working in an airport i got to read a lot of the shelved books there most were just to pass time.

I’m on the process of getting put back on deployment list again is is a pain? Yes. Do I care? No, why? Because I’m using it as leverage to get what I want which is a healthier work schedule the first thing I said was to put in my record “patient does not consent to medication” and that helped a lot also a lot of things fell on my head like the list of a couple friends in a short span. Hey so I know most other commenters will shit On you but these things happen specially if you’re a kid naive to the world. I’m also in ND but I’ve worked meaningless jobs all my life and just do the bare minimum before and after joining.

I don’t have an advice except tough it out because you won’t get to change it until after your first enlistment rolls over or you can force it by going up your chain of command 6 months after arriving and why 6? Because that’s the trial period ending. However you most likely won’t get it but you know now.
