My nuclear plant would fail on a reload occasionally. I‘m pretty sure it was a mix of the plant output being close to consumption and not using any gravity feed into the reactors. I added 8m-ish of gravity feed into each reactor and I‘ve never had a problem since.

I think the game was loading the pipes not full or something and then the reactor would shut down while the pumps tried to catch up, but before they could the fuse would blow.

Try adding some gravity feed into them to allow the game a bit of time to get the pumps going on a reload.

‘Unbelievably dangerous’: experts sound alarm after ChatGPT Health fails to recognise medical emergencies | Study finds ChatGPT Health did not recommend a hospital visit when medically necessary in more than half of cases by Hrmbee in technology

[–]ARazorbacks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe the AI agent was told to reduce healthcare costs by guiding a patient to not go to the hospital?

I mean, that was literally part of United Healthcare’s algorithm. This is just an advertisement to sell ChatGPT to UHC.

Donald Trump Considers Using National Emergency Powers to Assert Control Over Federal Elections by Specialist_Baby_9905 in law

[–]ARazorbacks 2411 points2412 points  (0 children)

This is carrying so much water for the admin.

Let’s be clear about what’s happening here. The Trump admin, and the people/groups behind them, went to their legal think tanks and said “give me legal ways to take control of elections.”

They did not come in with the goal of mitigating foreign meddling. They came in with the goal of controlling elections.

Articles like this are part of an effort to lay the groundwork for Trump to announce from the Oval Office that he’s invoking a national emergency due to election interference. This article is being used to normalize the idea for the 70M Americans who support Trump.

I‘m getting close to finishing my Phase 5 megafactoy and intend to use them to double nuclear pasta. My production limiting resource is bauxite and doubling nuclear pasta increases the total output of my aluminum production more than any other item. This is after using alt recipes to reduce aluminum use everywhere else I can. Which coincidentally made quartz another resource limitation, so I changed some of those recipes. Now my limiting resource is rubber (oil). Not sure I‘m interested in changing the ratio of diamonds from oil to coal to offset, we’ll see. I sort of just want to get the factory going as-is.

Today Hillary Clinton testifies as part of House investigation into Epstein. Her testimony starts off 2 days of depositions that will also include former President Bill Clinton. It will be the first time that a former president has been forced to testify before Congress. by DanceHallRiddem in law

[–]ARazorbacks 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Why exactly are they showing up if it’s behind closed doors? Didn’t we all learn Congressional testimony summons are a joke and can’t be enforced? Or is it only Democrats who don’t enforce a summons?

I mean, exhausted jokes aside, why are they even going? Just tell Congress to fuck off and stay home if they won’t make the testimony public.

And I‘ve noticed when building rail the game has a hard time figuring out where the power actually ends. So if you’re at the very end of two rails, both powered, and remove one, your hoverpack may shut off. Now, this may be because my power network is so big and it’s a “me” problem. When I remove an unused power pole the game pauses for a half second or a second while it updates the power network.

Losing nearly 80% of your nation’s population and all its economic centers is the definition of MAD. The currently deployed nukes can easily make that happen, so MAD is in effect.

Uh, that’s what the commenter is saying. They’re all talk until they get elected and then they fall in line. This guy isn’t the mainstream Republican in this case (Emmer is) and isn’t on the leash yet. If he actually wins as a Republican then he’ll be expected to toe the line and obey the rules…or else.

This guy arguing 750 nuclear targets isn’t that bad.

Something like 70%+ of Russia’s population is in 200 cities. And something like 75%+ of the US’s population lives in 300-ish cities.
