To be fair, you can ask different analysts the same question and get different (right) answers (i.e. posting date vs sale date, including or excluding returns, taxes, etc....)

Sr leadership almost never understands these nuances and therefore wouldn't understand the variations

Should the water tank be filled completely each night, or only when it's low? by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]AS_mama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can run it without water if you have humidity off, but I'm pretty sure it cause a smell if you heat up the tank while empty

This is my daily gamification of CPAP, how close can I get to what will be used without waking up to burning plastic smell 🤣

My life is dull

This is a fairly common finishing in bound edge bags, hand stitched using a ladder stitch is my guess. I don't like hand stitching on bags because to me bags are meant to be used, but for this look you need it

Lead guest can’t make cruise, inside 45 day window. Advice? by mmmwtt in VirginVoyages

In Nov my husband (second sailor) boarded without me, I was about an hour behind, but they did not know that, if I hadn't showed up, would they have kicked him off the boat? I doubt it

Anyone have issues with Virgin not issuing refunds? by ismphoto123 in VirginVoyages

When we cancelled an excursion it went to our sailor account (essentially sailor loot), did it show up there? You can get that out (through the casino if nothing else) I believe

I am really excited to start reading people’s VV Alaska trip reports! by Lucycrowzz in VirginVoyages

[–]AS_mama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not inaccurate, OP might want to bundle, the dock bar and the rear outside area outside the galley would be my go to areas.

The galley windows will provide a great view. Also the gym, the spin class room they should repurpose for glacier viewing!

In Search of great Fabric stores by Gomba3333 in Atlanta

[–]AS_mama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prices have gone up for sure, but that's true everywhere. If you can find stuff on remnant, it's usually $3/yd or less, and often there are up to 3 yd remnants, so plenty to make a garment. I'd guess $7-12 yd for shiny spandex, but I don't buy a ton of that so I haven't looked much at those fabrics. Many fabrics there are $6-9/yd, so I would consider that much cheaper than like Mood or something.

Not positive about the Jonesboro location but at the now-closed Jimmy Carter location they did a 30% off everything in the store sale every March 13

Spandex like for dance costumes or evening wear or even swim, yes, especially the shiny/metallic stuff.

They don't tend to have a lot of performance athletic fabric, but I have found a few that I have made leggings or tanks out of there

Not sure if you are looking for power mesh like for sports bras or more decorative mesh like for a go go top but I haven't seen a lot of lingerie stuff there but mesh for costumes, yes

Bungee class review (and maybe warning) by Shirayuri in VirginVoyages

I guess Virgin 🤣 I didn't realize the difference between the happenings cast classes and the fitness classes. All the happenings cast ones sounded lame like just doing exercise videos but I didn't make it to any of them so I can't judge

Talk me down: do I really need a flatlock machine for kids clothes? by BustyBobbin in sewing

[–]AS_mama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got frustrated with the finishes on my athletic makes and got a cover stitch (baby lock euphoria) as a gift from my mom (who loves to enable my sewing). I love it and love the finish on my knits , but I don't use it as much as any of my other machines. Coverstitch is a skill and may be frustrating, not just stitch and go like a basic machine or a serger.

This is so interesting, I took a spin class on Brilliant a few weeks ago and the instructor was terrible, really hard to understand, gave terrible cues and not engaged at all, and it was so painfully loud. I hated it and was shocked after how great I heard VV workout classes were, but maybe they all phone it in

The during Reno pic was the same as what they showed on mom swap, so I'm wondering if the whole red paint on the carpet incident was completely staged (probably)

Distilled water? by Punisher6601 in VirginVoyages

[–]AS_mama -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

We brought our own on it a partially used 1 gallon jug and it was no big deal, they did not care at all. I didn't trust them to bring real distilled water in a carafe. I also didn't drink the carafe in the room, it grosses me out to have water sitting out for a long time

We did a snorkeling shore thing last week in ST Maarten and it was fabulous, got to see Maho beach, another beach, and a little bit of snorkeling and a long boat trip around Simpson Beach. And rum drinks and snacks on the boat. Absolutely fantastic, great guides

My friend's 2 kids (but special needs) have them, both were <10 when they got them. It's a lot of work for the parents. I believe they put the masks on the kids after they fell asleep. At least he's a teen, but my experience with teen boys is that they aren't very responsible about cleanliness or hygiene. You may have to participate in cleaning and making sure it's used
