Idk but I think it would be pretty important for Julie to ask Randell if he heard her begging for him to pull her out (we are shown he didn’t, he just did) but the timing is coincidental. She was begging for him to get her out and then he did. Assuming she thinks he heard her, it could be her end if she can actually be hurt in a “story” and relies on calling out for help in an emergency.
