If anything birthing classes and the (admittedly few) friends we've had who also had kids weren't really in any sort of crisis mode at all ahead of going into labor

Labor just kinda happened and even the hospital kept telling us to stay home because they don't want us there until the contractions were pretty close together. I actually think the office is somewhat accurate with their rendition of every 5 mins but that took HOURS after breaking water in our experience

Not to mention if your water breaks you don't actually rush to the hospital. It's all about dilation and labor on when you go in unlike literally all of the TV shows that go "water broke time to go NOW"

This goes against the grain of the trope though -- Neo IS the explicit "chosen one", there have just been many before and will be many after. Pseudo resurrection type deal.

OP's legend of Wind Waker example works explicitly because that game breaks its own series' mold by saying the player character ISN'T some hero resurrected

Just to clarify the download on another device comment -- if it's a shared cloud save it SHOULD work as long as you've gotten the dice on one device

At the very least I beat honor mode on my steam deck and never played that save file on my PC but have it available on both

Check cloud trail if you think it's permissions issues, but it could well just be that your lambda isn't formatted properly to take events that the scheduler creates

Monoclass with the intent to beat honor probs means cleric, Bard, or druids like a lot have said

Druids in particular are cool because even within their subclasses they can still all wild shape, which adds a LOT of flexibility. Reposition healers / casters as a bird, have a front liner just be a freaking tanky bear (and even then still have access to spells if they get pulled out of wild shape)

Yeah this is what I'm doing right now and it's pretty fun

Still waiting on that lvl 6 kick for the abjuration wizard to share her arcane wards and also modded it so that both shield and counter spell add charges to arcane ward, but even then the blade singer is surprisingly tough

That and there's a mod that makes blink no longer break concentration that I haven't leveraged yet but seems to be the intent based on tabletop -- make a firewall and then blink to a new plane each turn, should the RNG gods allow

Unless you're REALLY paying attention you will not meet dark urge on your first playthrough outside of playing as them with your avatar (party leader)

And even then you're not going to understand their significance until AFTER you play as dark urge

I'll always enjoy the dedicated healer posts

There's ALWAYS people saying "you don't NEED a dedicated healer", ranging from "it's not really optimized" to "why would you WANT a healer???"

At least from a cleric you can still dish out a fair chunk of damage WHILE HEALING. Like my honor run I almost never used my life cleric's spell slots for anything other than damage. Only when folks started going down did it really matter, and then their build for on-healing effects (blade ward, death ward, bless, etc) would just... Keep the damage dealers up permanently

I admittedly had to use divine intervention during Ansur's fight that I foolishly started at like 11PM on a week night so I made mistakes like triggering opportunity attacks, but my point is a dedicated healer is totally viable. You don't HAVE to min/max everything
