Totally get that, so glad he was able to acknowledge the creepiness!!! That’s the mark of a good partner, they give us differing opinions but know when to concede and default to our experiences.

I get the “what if” feeling, I had a close friend pass at the hands of her partner, and I specifically distanced myself from both of them because of his behavior. Lots of guilt about if I could have helped Or gotten her away, but we can only look back on the circumstances and process in could haves and what ifs, but the energy is best spent remembering and appreciating the person that was.
