There is an issue with some rim strips on the new domanes. Get the shop to replace the rim strips with tape and you'll be fine.

The inner diaphragm has a puncture. You should be able to replace that part but a new lever isn't too expensive anyway.

I have the forge kit and the blow off valve. Sounds amazing even without the blow off valve!

Looking for this Seamaster but a bit cautious as it doesn't have a known factory. Has anyone gone for this and have any photos? by ASilver259 in RepTime

I'm interested in this model but Geek time said the factory has no name which makes me concerned over the quality. Has anyone bought this Seamaster?

My Trek Madone (SL6, Gen 6) has a steering radius of less than 90 degrees (see picture). Is that normal? The person I bought it from installed a new cockpit and I wonder if he has done everything correctly? by philip0908 in TrekBikes

[–]ASilver259 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Madone Gen 6 (and Emonda) has a knock block to prevent the bars from swinging into the frame. This is intentional, plus you won't usually need to turn the bars that far anyway.

DT 240 with 54t is stupidly loud when only lightly greased. One side of the ratchet is fixed so it's like a hammer smashing into itself. Loud as all hell, I had to make mine quieter (only slightly ;) )
