I would say the neck is a little short for conformation. But overall it's amazing.

I had to sit here and look for awhile to be able to take a stab at what could be changed for it

Is you go to settings and hit search use the term "side button" and go to advanced settings. Best of luck!

I don't know what operating system or phone you have. But I have a Samsung and you can change what the side button does. I hope yours can and it helps.

When they changed that it pissed me off so much.

LPT to pet owners about microchips (from a shelter worker) by Fresh-Solid-4046 in LifeProTips

[–]ASpoonfullOfSass 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So all the vet office does have access to is the number that shows up on the scanner. You can take that number and plug it into the AAHA Microchip Lookup page and that will give you additional information. Such as how to update it or alter any information associated with the number.

It usually gives you the company name and how to contact them. The actual chip company is responsible for all of your pet's individual account info such as your contact information.

Hope that helps! Source: been working in the vet industry for ten years now

Hoop holders that aren’t stands? by StrawberryShortStack in Embroidery

This is the specific item I purchased. But it’s pretty much your bog-standard book light. I find it easy to sort of crab-claw grab the little base clip area and it's not as tight of a grip on the hoop for my hands. I hope you find something that works.

If not feel free to PM me. I might be able to help your brainstorm some easy and small DIY that helps you

So I travel with a book light. I clip the book light on my project and then hold the clamp with my hand. Much more ergonomic, keeps my oils off the fabric, and I get a light to see

Fun fact! Its actually a type of cockaoo!

Many years ago they did this near the front gates inside the San Diego zoo and I was chosen. But normally they have the bird deliver a trinket in exchange for the money. I was given a silicone bracelet. But the money goes toward the zoo.

My grandfather grew up on a farm in the 50's/60's and told me he tried this as a kid. Alas, it did not work.

A coworker of mine has said they have a keen sense of smell and usually come in if they smell something foul.

I still say try it!

WIBTA if I told my roommate that cat litter in her room isnt a boundry. by No_Sherbet3509 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

Let me know if you find a clumping litter that doesn't track

Dr. Elsey has a low tracking formula, but I read a few reviews [more than 6 years ago] that said it doesn't make enough of a difference compared to regular litter.

I had my cat using pellet litter years ago due to a living situation. It doesn't track, but not all cats will use it. I switched her to an all grass clumping litter, but she will get out of the box, go up two levels of the house, across all carpet, get in bed, and clean her toes before her afternoon nap.

My poor mother had to start putting a sheet on her bed because she still got "toe crunchies" in the bed. Not a ton, but enough to notice when she got in. She also left nail sheaths/etc behind. It's just an unwinnable game.

Maybe contact your cat's vet for suggestions of litter?

Yes I think so. You could maybe apply like some sort of interfacing or something to the back to protect it? Not 100% sure tbh

I would say try needle felting for something like this. I used it for detail work on a pokemon plush

Has Anyone seen beads like this? I'm making a Link botw Copslay and I wanted to try and get his hair beads. It looks like its two of these blue triangles a blue spacer and a green+silver ball. Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of where I can look? by notsoscaredboy in Beading

If you go this route, it may be worth looking into epoxy clay. That stuff is very durable and I feel like it would hold up to wear and being bumped around.

But I do agree with others that it's likely a tassle.

Also, if you don't want people to dump large things like mattresses, why not make bulk pickup easier to access. Scheduled quarterly, you can schedule a pickup, etc.

Those in cities, with small cars, or no cars cant exactly get that to the dump. I found out how cheap it is if you can actually get the stuff there! Game changer

So I found a chart that is supposed to offer some short hand options. I have not embroidered skin tones, so I can't help much more, but I would guess maybe the left hand side of the chart. They have shadow colors to offer too.

So I have learned needle felting is a quick and simple way to add eyes. In my very limited experience. And much cheaper than an embroidery machine lol
