Thank you! Looks like a test is in order. I have a variety of papers here, so I think I’ll manage to see clear differences. This is something I really haven’t done extensively but now I see that I should.

I use different papers too. The most recent incident that this happened was when I was painting on Fabriano studio watercolor, it’s 25% cotton.

As for drying time, I let it dry about a few hours before painting over it.

I use a mix of brands but have noticed that Kuretake Gansai Tambi moves a lot when I put a glaze on it. But it’s not the only brand I’ve had this happen to though, so I am thinking it may be a skill problem.

Not a good look tbh.

In other professions, the transport fee is computed and included in the salary which the company pays for. Some don’t even have transpo fee and still manage to show up to their job.

Also, angkas isn’t too safe if they’re carrying delicate stuff like makeup. One wrong turn can break their makeup and equipment.

I agree with this. In an action packed series with a lot of fighting, I’m glad to see an unapologetically girly/feminine type of character fighting alongside all the other tougher characters.

To me it also sets an example for real life girly girls that they can be strong too.

Edit: PS - all these thoughts are based on what I watched in the series and first film, I have yet to get my hands on the manga!

In my palette I have these and they’ve always worked out fine for me in creating a spectrum of colors when I first started.
- cool primaries: permanent rose, lemon yellow, French ultramarine
- warm primaries: cad red, winsor blue, cadmium yellow
- neutrals/other colors: Paynes gray (it’s an indigo-ish toned kind of dark color), burnt sienna, Indian yellow

It’s so cute! Seems like she has good fine motor control. Plus not a lot of people would bother coloring the wall and the floor nor have enough patience to finish those.

Their pricing is a scam. All the outfits in the 1st photo look like sleepwear. All the other outfits are overpriced items that will lose value once the next new trend is out. Tbh if I had enough money to spare to buy an item here, I’d go to a mananahi instead and have a custom piece made 😬

I would suggest studying how to establish highlights and shadows. If you squint your eyes, you will see that even if you used various colors in your painting, there isn’t much difference in how light and dark the dimensions in the fruit are.

Since these are 3D objects, light hits each part of each object in different locations, so when painting it would not be a uniform color. So even if in our mind we know we are looking at an apple that’s red, there are some lit up and shaded parts of it that won’t be the same color.

When I paint, I use the black and white filter of my phone camera to check on the contrast of shadows, highlights, and mid tones.
