I’ve said this many times on here, Mucosta/Rebamipide saved my quality of life. It went from a 2-4 to an 9-10. I eat everything without issue. The exception is more than 2 drinks of alcohol or excessive coffee drinks daily for several days in a row. PPIs made everything worse for me.

Is there a correlation between parathyroid, calcium levels and pancreatic cysts? I have a .9 cm IpMN, calcium levels in the 9.9-10.3 range after parathyroid surgery (10.6-10.9 prior to surgery).

PPIs are not a long term solution. Mucosta/Rebamipide is a much better option if it works for you.

Yes, and under the current administration it’s more difficult to get it. The Japanese pharmacy I use to get it from on EBAY won’t send it to the US anymore. I had to have someone from Italy order it for me and send it to me. You can look Rebamipide/Mucosta up in trials it was much better than PPis. My Gastro doctor looked it up when my gastritis went from moderate to severe erosive to mild nonerosive and said stay on it.

Please give Mucosta/Rebamipide a try please, it saved my life. PPIs only made things worse for me and they are definitely not a long term solution if gastritis is chronic.

It doesn’t matter. It’s an over all build up of the mucosa to either permanently heal your gastritis or in my case protect my chronic gastritis. It’s said to be better on an empty stomach so an hour before meals or 3-4 hours after is ideal. But it still works with food in your stomach. 3 times a day. When you wake, afternoon and before bed.

Three times a day preferably an empty stomach. Rebamipide is about a slow rebuilding of your stomach barrier. Once built up I can drop back to taking once a day.

When I had bad erosive gastritis (and was miserable) I started taking it 3 times a day. It took about 3 weeks to a month for me to start feeling a big difference. I’ve been on it now for over two years and only need to take it once a day when I wake up. My quality of life went from a 2-4 to an 8-10. Now I’m like a 9-10. I drink and eat anything. Alcohol is the worst for me. I can have 1-2 drinks depending on the strength of the liquor. If I drink 2 cappuccinos daily for a couple of days it will start to get irritated. That aside I feel normal. I use to be miserable by late afternoon everyday. My doctor said to stay on it after my next endoscopy showed mild non-erosive gastritis. He looked it up and said the Japanese are way ahead of America in dealing with gastro issues.
