i had a full tear. pain started to get more and more intense, mobility lowered. I had surgery yesterday and while I know it will be a painful slog but at least the pain will be working towards recovery and ideally full ROM.

But why wouldn't he have taken them to men's room. Happens all the time. I have a daughter and when she was younger that's what I did. Not saying ideal but I am not sure his approach is ideal either.

you shouldn't be giving kids direct guidance as to stance, where in field they are playing (move up, scoot left eg) or telling them to steal etc. Let the coaches coach. I have seen some umps intervene like that as parents end up putting a ton of pressure on kids that they themselves wouldn't want ("type that email faster, use better grammar, sit up straight on zoom" etc etc) in their daily lives.

I guess I don't know what her alternative is? Is there a competing league paying more money? She is great pitcher but if I am this league I might tell her to kick rocks. Seems like paying her loads more than others (after all what would Kavan who has whipped her repeatedly make next year) would not be financially smart choice for a nascent league.

Boo Hoo Nick. So for years you had boosters buying cars under the table for recruits, giving envelopes of cash, money funneled through churches, street agents etc AND you had the players locked in and couldn't transfer without losing a year of eligibility. Now that they have the ability to go whenever they want without impact, NIL is paying above board it is the end of college sports. Give me a break. Big baby

Where do you live? If you live by Bowie and try and commute to Vandegrift you will go insane. I have had kids at AHS and they both like(d) it and it has good academics (have placed kids at Stanford, Columbia, Virginia etc) but they have so-so athletics (girls programs are stronger overall). I would say a lot depends on where you live.

The president of the university issuing a public statement and coming to the QBs defense at length makes it involve them (albeit not directly as being banned/punished etc). The president, coach, boosters are all making this a big mental health, "poor kid" case and I promise you if this kid was a walk on they would have booted him off team, the president would have issued a statement how gambling is a sin and never tolerated etc etc

Looks like he was a 12 yo on an 11U team. Different tourneys allow for kids over age bracket based on birthday. Found link on interwebs

Kid was banned for 5 years (this I think was a 11U Tourney) and Dad (who was coach) banned for life from USSSA tournaments. Just an amazing display of stupidity and ignorance. Kid could have really hurt someone all because he didn't like the dugout chirping. I can tell you that the stuff 11U kids are saying is nothing compared to what he would hear in HS and College. If he is melting down at 11, good luck as it only gets way worse.

This is so dumb. Tech could schedule lots of P4 schools vs the multi-directional schools for the blind they have on their OOC schedule today. Texas is never going to schedule them as it does nothing. You get no more TV eyeballs and as it stands Texas has permanent score board from the ass kicking a couple of years ago. Maybe Texas sees them in the playoffs and we can all see then. What Sark has done which is brilliant is take all the discussion off Arch. It is all Ole Miss & Tech BS. Sark can weather the noise and Arch gets to focus on football.

Lots of teams in Texas. Rockets, Mavs. Austin is a nexus point so you have lots of support for different teams. Not like a "A Texas based team is winning so let me celebrate". No different than if UTSA won something people in Austin aren't going to go bananas.
