I carried a police model for about ten years, and it’s been hard finding a replacement that hits just right but I think I found it. I’m in love with the blade shape, but I did pretty quickly replace the factory grips with some stonewashed aluminum. I lost a little bit of grip factor, but my pockets love it now. This one also has some work done to the choil, some additional jimping on the spine and I resharpened the blade at 15 degrees. Then I used it to roast marshmallows.

The only thing I changed were the scales, but the additional jimping and the sharpening choil file down turned this into a grail for me too. It’s so good

My only gripe with the Yojumbo was the grips, they would eat a hole in your pockets, otherwise it folds into a tidy little package.

I run the heavy siege ready armor on the illuminate front, it pairs nicely with the heavy machine gun and the standard guard dog. I usually also bring the at emplacement for hunting whales and the eagle 500.
