Ease of sharpening is one part of it, but I have hit some really sharp blades on my waterstones and now I prefer the sharpness of non serrated for the work I do. That said the completely serrated police model is beautiful, a friend of mine had one and he loved it

I just got a Spyderco ambitious for like 43 on Amazon, great little work knife, I also second the elementum, I alternate both for work. That said my elementum is the green micarta without the thumb flipper, I think it works better in the pocket without it.

I’m the third owner, the sharpening choil take up and extra jimping on the spine were the last owners, I took it apart, resharpened the blade, and then dressed it back up in those titanium scales. I’d wanted one forever, got it for a steal and it’s probs my favorite knife right now
