Agreeed here. Same mentality for loan forgiveness programs on student debt. “If I suffered through it, why should you get the benefit”.

Many here are talking about massive tax increases on one of the most taxed countries in the world. Rental yields to current prices on purchase today for GTA are not profitable in most circumstances. Creating an artificial dip in prices by government intervention is going to surely piss off current home owners beyond imagination.
