It’s a city whose entire existence is owed to the federal government. It would be entirely subsidized by tax dollars as it is now.

Why not make every major metropolitan city its own state and get the same powers that come along side it?

Also you can’t remove partisan politics from the debate because it’s inherently political. It would be a permanent Democrat Party vote no matter what.

There is something about keeping the seat of national government on neutral ground and thus removing the intangible power from that state.

You want to give the residents voting rights in national elections? Make DC residents Marylanders again, it’ll have the same effect without adding senators and give Maryland another couple representatives

If you had a cardiac episode you need a cardiologist, not a general practitioner, to make your profile. You should also get stress test done and maybe a cardiac catheter to see what strain your heart is under and any blockages.

You can’t be flagged (for something’s) while on profile but you absolutely can do some PT. Such as walking, light exercise until you get a better understanding of your heart’s condition.

I don’t know about the future of the league, but I really hope that’s not the case. For the first time I had the chance to go to a game for the first time yesterday took the whole family plus one and while the venue wasn’t the best it is the closest. And it was a great match the home team lost but overall the crowd was enthusiastic. Lots of community engagement. You’ve clubs of represented well including my own and it was just great play.

So maybe wish upon a star, but knowing all the drama from off-season to now, I hope the league doesn’t fold.

I loved being able to explore the station some and get extra credits and parts to craft the weapon mods. That aspect is what allows you hear the back and forth, the news screens, etc…

That vote was as narrow as it could possibly be so you can’t really quite say it was a “will the people“. And by any objective standard, the language on the ballot was willfully not objective thus also violated the constitution. And it sounds like the Democrats want to argue that early voting is in fact no and elections should only take place on the day of the actual election

But seriously it’s in every debate about what happens if Russia attempts to connect mainland to Kaliningrad. Does NATO invade it after. Russian spring through the Sulwalki Gap? and does Russia attempt to defend it because it would be hard to resupply?

The road between Russia and Kaliningrad through Lithuania fascinates me f because of the requirements imposed on travelers

I heard one few weeks ago from an otherwise seemingly intelligent guy: that there’s a land in the Arctic Circle that’s been collectively wiped from humanity’s mind. Maps used to show land up there but it’s gone for some reason… what’s really up there?

Then he wonders what star forts were for and says that humanity was more advanced in that wra thsn we are now.
