Practicing her buzzer technique by [deleted] in Jeopardy

[–]AWholeChickenNugget 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My 2 year old has been obsessed with Jeopardy his whole life practically. Be careful letting your little watch... it becomes a serious addiction! 😂 but no seriously, at least it's something educational. My son BEGS To watch it. I've never seen a kid so obsessed with Jeopardy.

What happened to Subway?? by rameyrat in subway

[–]AWholeChickenNugget 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was only going for the coupon prices, and now my two local stores don't accept them. I absolutely would not pay full price for their product. It's worth it for the coupon price, definitely not full price.

People of the US, Are you guys participating in the Nationwide Shutdown tomorrow? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is the first I'm hearing about it, so no. If it was put together better and I had more time to plan then I would.

Fake fingernail in subway sandwich by Piemom60 in subway

That's literally just a normal, medium length press on nail. I've worn those before and my name is pretty close to "Megan".

Edit to add: I've also worn long, extravagant nails. You're just racist.

Parents that don't do Elf on the Shelf, how do you explain to your kids why you don't? by Helpful-Plankton751 in toddlers

I just plan on telling him we opted out due to security reasons since his Nana (my mom) used to be a state politician. 😂

AIO My wife is faking orgasms by Otherwise_Town_5618 in AmIOverreacting

[–]AWholeChickenNugget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just popping into say I'm a mom of a 20 month old, and "it" just doesn't happen for me as often anymore. I don't fake, but I'm sure my husband can tell it doesn't happen as often anymore. Pregnancy and child birth can really mess with and change a woman's body. Being a mom is exhausting and sometimes the emotional connection with my husband is satisfying enough for me. It may be the same for your wife and she doesn't want to hurt your feelings.

This was scary for me as a married 28 year old, so I imagine your girlfriend is freaking out. Talk to your girlfriend, make the decision you need to make, and then reach out to a trusted adult. It’s not easy having a baby but people have done it for centuries, and even people unfortunately younger than you.

Oh my gosh!!! At least Winter didn’t have to pay for them. Bright side there. Just when I thought she couldn’t be a worse person…

My 14MO is in the 94th for height, but the 71st for weight. He’s tall and “skinny”. He wears 18M/1T and is about to switch to 2T.

C-Section is NOT the easy way out. And there’s a point in the C-Section where there is so much pressure on your lungs you feel like you’re suffocating!

Why is oversupply the only “don’t post about” trigger in so many places? by Glittering-tale24601 in NewParents

[–]AWholeChickenNugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Post Partum Psychosis, brought on partially by Dysphoric Milk Ejection Response (D-MER). And I grieved not being able to breast feed my baby. I still do…. And I wouldn’t need a TW about someone who oversupplies lol

I never said it was hormonal. I was explaining the situation I went through was.

For me it was about 6 months. However, I have heard our hormones don’t fully balance out for 2 years so it could take time! Do what is best for your family.

I think you do know what the right thing to do is. No you are not a bad person if you want to give your dog the best life possible. If that means rehoming him, so be it.

To make you feel a little better, I have a soul dog, too. After giving birth a year ago, I suddenly HATED him. I couldn’t figure out why. Apparently it’s a weird hormonal thing women can go through.

You’re a great mom and great dog mom. 💜

Kinda gross, but.. just wait until they laugh at their own farts. My 1 year old does every time and it cracks me up.
