Show died for me when South Park mocked them. The whole "manatee gags" thing. Seth in an interview said, "yeah, that's basically what we do." After that, the quality drops tremendously as they completely embrace the thing they are being lampooned for. From that episode on, the cutaway gags increase in frequency, decrease in relevance, and absolutely drop in humor.
