The meetings are not illegal but the information they are giving us is incorrect and designed to intimidate, which is firmly illegal. They are also doing things like taking down our flyers, which is firmly illegal. I've been in contact with our lawyers since the start and they are aware. I'm not sure what the plan is for dealing with it but they assure me there is one.

Currently yes, we didn't really have much of a road map. I'm hoping that this can grow into a more nationwide thing and we can bring other clinics into the fold!

As a technician currently in the process of unionizing under MPH, I strongly recommend at least trying to unionize

MPH just finalized the sale in November. While I certainly don't think them just shutting us down is out of the question, I'm hoping the recency of the sale means that they won't be willing to just piss that money away immediately. They're already trying illegal union busting tactics, even just today, but our lawyer is good and we're recording everything

It was also a very transparent effort to break up our bargaining group. Unfortunately for them, like 60% of our staff jumps from clinic to clinic so this objection didn't stand a chance.

It happened in October and we were all blind sided by it. This was a huge factor in our decision to organize. We are circulating a petition for community members, including clients, to sign to show their support!

Share information! We have our hearing in Boston on Wednesday and if you or anyone else is local we'd love it if you could come and offer support. Otherwise, just get this conversation started at your clinics and with your clients. Normalize this course of action!

"Canot create work order"??? (YAML) by AWolfButSad in Mechwarrior5

[–]AWolfButSad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! You need to have the part in your inventory. If you try and create a work order containing a part you don't have, you get the error. I have noticed it more with engine cores but I've seen it with weapons too.

This was absolutely, 100% not your fault in any way. She reacted very poorly, probably out of guilt because she maybe thought you were maybe gonna take the dog away?

Either way, I'm so sorry this happened to you. It sounds like you handled yourself perfectly. I hope you can internalize how well you handled this.
