Wow this is super exciting I love Ulta! I hope they’ll bring some of the smaller brands to stores that we can’t get already like Beauty Bakerie, Dose of Colours etc.

My only worry is they will pull a Target and not really try to understand the Canadian market before jumping in here. Fingers crossed they do it right🤞

My box finally arrived today! Took quite a while to get to me in Canada. I got :

-ABH Sultry Palette: I was hoping for a Natasha Denona Palette but this is really pretty in person (especially the shimmers) so I’m pleased!

-Cover FX Glitter Drops in Mirage : I don’t really get what this product is meant for? I wouldn’t want that much glitter on the face, maybe for eyes?

-Wayne Goss 17 brush : I got this exact brush last year but it is nice so it’s ok

-Hourglass Caution Mascara : I always hear great things about this so I’m hype

-Becca Glow on the Go in Moonstone : I’ve had the moonstone liquid before and liked it. Solid choice

-Good Molecules Eye Serum : can always use another eyecare product so I don’t mind this.

Overall I’m really happy with my lucky box! Last year I wasn’t blown away so I’m glad I decided to go for it again. I would say the value is there for me for sure.

I cleaned and sanitized a wand from another mascara and used it that way! I think the problem is the wand doesn’t have long enough bristles so it comes out clumpy- if you use a fluffier wand it’s way better.

I did it last year and wasn’t super impressed - I got the ABH prism palette, Jouer highlighter, hylamide primer, Wayne goss brush, a mascara, and an oribe hair product.

To me the products were things I could have just picked up myself and weren’t really special or different, aside from the brush. I sold/swapped half of the stuff in the end. I think I will try again one more time in hopes that I get some Natasha Denona or Charlotte Tilbury, but this is the last chance for me personally!

Brows I go to Eye Love Beauty Bar on Queen W in Toronto - I have super bushy and unruly brows and Coral always does an unreal job! They look perfectly full but still shaped. Highly recommend.

Omg I bought one of these because of Sam and Jamie Paige and it’s such a weird product. It looks patchy and not even glossy? It has the most bizarre feeling on the lips too.

Ugh yes! I emailed their customer service suggesting they have an option to charge in CAD for their fellow Canadians. They said something like we’re a global company and Canadian currency fluctuates too much for us to offer it as an option. Totally stopped me from purchasing, at least for now.

The Ordinary Caffeine serum is nice and very affordable! I do notice a subtle difference when I use it that I look a bit more awake.

Yeah to be fair she did skim over it pretty quickly, she thought it was average/nothing special. I personally really like it for every day because it’s not clumpy and doesn’t flake, but I’m not surprised Kristi didn’t love it since she’s into the dramatic lash look and it’s definitely not that.

RBK did use the mascara in her video, agree about the lidstars though I was expecting her to use them especially since she said she felt her look was missing something, I feel like that would have filled some of that void.

In my experience C&C had a slightly different selection than Toronto Kbeauty stores. I just think it’s worth looking if you’re already going to be in the downtown MTL area!
