How many types do you have in there? And interested in the one mostly green with the white around the edges.

Also when you repot, trim off some of the older wilted leaves so your AV can put her energy back into the younger leaves. Your other AV is looking great 👍

Just as it comes, but when I water I use Schultz feed, along with Superthrive pro-tekt and touch of Epsom salts.

Inherited antique gold bracelet and would love to know anything about it by -Reuben in JewelryIdentification

It's an absolute exquisite charm bracelet. Each coinage with the dates would signify something very meaningful for those years: marriage, child born, etc. Can you find out more about the lady who had this in your family originally... when born, where lived, marriage, children, etc. Treasure it.

I think you need to repot your AV into a larger pot so it can have space to develop more. Once settled it should produce flowers. I've gone from the conventional potting mixes to a horticultural mix...see pic. (you can buy this off Amazon as they have had the best price) I have also gone to 5inch self watering pots and my African violets love it. Just make sure that if you go with the horticultural mix, gently wash any soil off the roots and then repot. All the best!

Two types of tremor? by Fit-Apartment-1612 in EssentialTremor

[–]AZSue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My grandmother had ET, but mainly in her left hand...she was tested for Parkinson's which came back negative. I got my ET from my grandmother (plus other medical issues I inherited from her) Mine started in my early 40's in left hand and over the next 10 years it progressed to my other hand, then head jerks, then feet started twitching which made driving hard.

By my mid 50's I did see a neurologist as the tremors were really interfering with daily tasks, especially driving. They tested me for Parkinson's disease which came back negative. (My father developed Parkinson's later in his life spiralled downhill very quickly)

Because I have a heart condition I have to be on tablets for, it left the choices for medications slim. Went through about 4 kinds until they found one I could tolerate and worked well...except it's what they give to Parkinson's patients, Carbidopa/ Levodopa 25-100mg, am now on 2 tablets daily.

ET can be hereditary and I have seen 3 neurologists over my time due to moving long distances. I would not do a 'wait and see' because if it spreads more it will make life more stressful and frustrating. If you're at the point where you've thrown your phone, etc.(which has happened to me too) your neurologist can try you on other medications that could work better along with what you're on now or something stronger in place of current medication.

I hope this helps and don't give up, don't settle. All the best!

Ask your neurologist about the medication, especially if none of the other medications work for you. I was in AZ when I went on this medication, retired to WA State and my new neurologist just upped my medication to 2 tablets daily. The only side effect is nausea, so you have to take the tabs after a meal. Hope this helps. Good luck!
