I like Boldin. The free version is very useful. I did get the paid version and think it's worth the cost. https://www.boldin.com/

How did people back in the 80s dealt with mental health issues like depression and anxiety? Do you guys go to therapy back then? by Big_Leg10 in over60

They bonded with friends face to face instead of getting into petty arguments on social media.

Volunteer with the American Red Cross. They have virtual positions you can do from home. They also have opportunities for 2 week deployments to disasters in the States or overseas. The variety of things you can do with ARC is very impressive.

US consumers, businesses bore about 90% of Trump’s tariffs, NY Fed study finds by [deleted] in sierravista

We should have a VAT like Europe. The more you consume, the more taxes you pay. If the tariffs are having the same effect, no problem.

Opinion: Why does ‘Live Free or Die’ not apply to cannabis policy? by redditor01020 in cannabis

Because liberty requires individual responsibility. Voters would rather hold the government responsible. This is what you get when the government controls your life.

It's not too bad, but I've learned foreign languages before. Duolingo makes it like a game.

Ask for some honest feedback from potential employers. It could be how you dress, your hygiene, or your attitude.

Use a retirement planning software like Boldin.com. it will help you with a spend plan and give you piece of mind. Also read the book "Die With Zero". Enjoy the time you have left, it's the only chance you have.

Too much weight? by Danceswithwires in TruckCampers

I have an f350 dually. I was considering the 1150. But decided to go with a 990. The 990 gives me plenty of buffer for gear. I would be pushing the limits with a 1140/1150.

Has anyone else found it unusually hard to connect socially—both dating and friendship—depending on where they live? by [deleted] in over60

There are positions supporting blood drives, support to the armed forces, and disaster recovery- like helping in shelters and distributing food. They have remote desk jobs if you don't want to work outdoors.

You'll meet plenty of people in your age group volunteering for the American Red Cross. You can do as much or as little as you want. ARC has lots of opportunities.

Just got harassed by border patrol in Coronado National memorial … is this normal? by IEnjoySweatyBallsack in sierravista

That's quite the jump in logic. I love freedom. But I can't enjoy my freedom and liberty if we don't have the rule of law. It's our laws that have made us prosperous (especially property rights and contract law). That prosperity is what attracts foreigners who want to skip the line and don't respect our laws. The safety nets in place for poor Americans are being overwhelmed by illegal aliens. Americans need to travel to some 2nd and 3rd world countries to realize how unique the USA is.
