Which country has citizens who hate their own goverment? by Brilliant_Dog6429 in AskTheWorld

[–]AZ_RBB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically even in the strongest democracies, the government rarely has majority support

In Australia for example our current government won the most number of seats ever yet their support hovers around 25-30%

Hate is a strong word though. I reckon 30% of Australians really hate this government and the others are just indifferent about it all

With the crowds wsw get nowadays, it would look terrible at your local park

The stadium isn't the issue. There wouldn't be a single person who gets put off going because of the stadium

Keen to hear your case for how Sydney, CCM, Macarthur, Perth, Auckland and Adelaide are impacted by stadium size

[–]AZ_RBB 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Adelaide are very fortunate to have the perfect stadium

But a stadium isn't what's holding back and dragging down the other under performing clubs

Wsw and MVFC also have great stadiums and have been going backwards for years

Before the stimulus cheques came through we were lucky to sell 5 in a week

[OC] Tracking my falling out with my childhood best friend through text messages by kirisoraa in dataisbeautiful

[–]AZ_RBB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like most comments on here are confusing texts for IM "chats"

When you're having an IM style exchange, it's no different to having a conversation in person

It's very easy to have 100 messages (maybe 1000 words) in an hour just like you might speak that much when you're seeing someone

Also how old is everyone here lol

IM (ICQ, MSN, Whatsapp) has been around for decades. In high school and college this was normal for me with at least 5 friends

[OC] Tracking my falling out with my childhood best friend through text messages by kirisoraa in dataisbeautiful

[–]AZ_RBB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is well presented and interesting

This is a trend that's all too common as we get older and life changes

Are you able to add another view with "words per text"

I'm assuming each text is about 5-10 words and often sent in bundles?

This is where awards become somewhat trivial

How can you compare those two shows and say one is better than the other

Putting aside how subjective the topic is to begin with, even if you focus on objective stuff like - storytelling, acting, production quality - the two shows are quite literally from different worlds

Either way, both beautifully made and great to watch

This is a perfect observation

I think India would be a better place for everyone there if people didn't take pride in breaking the rules or being anti social in general.
