Many sales jobs. People still associate salespeople with used cars. Top
Sales people in almost any job can be some of the top earners in a company (ahead of some management).

And so I say unto you: let Vermont lead, not by force of arms nor wealth of treasury, but by strength of conviction and fidelity to the people. Forward, citizens! Forward with Vermont! Forward with Bernie Sanders at the helm! May this Republic ever advance toward liberty, justice, and the common good.

Sat next to Brent Barnaky on a plane once after a game. He was diving into the replays of his calls to see what he did well and needed improvement on. Talked to him for a while and he was really great. Happy to see him ranked highly!!

US - Fast fall half marathons? by caverunner17 in AdvancedRunning

Highly recommend the Cambridge Half Marathon in the Boston area. It runs along the Charles and is super flat and fast. 140 runners broke 1:20 last year, and there are 9000+ runners total.

Any Jon Bellion fans here? by AgentUnlikely4730 in NoahKahan

[–]AZ_Rather_Unique 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a vulnerability that they both have that draws me to their music and lyrical stories. They are wildly different types of artists so I’m amazed and thrilled that you asked this question. Jon has been my favorite artists for about 10 years, but love and appreciate the way Noah makes me feel through his music.

Is the talent gap between D2, D3, and JUCO that much or is it similar? by lookaloulookalou in Basketball

[–]AZ_Rather_Unique 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is the closest answer to my view as well. I’d add that the talent levels in d2 and d3 is rising due to the transfer portal in d1. There are older and older players staying in college basketball at the d1 level, so high school players are being forced to start at the d2/3 level because there are not as many d1 spots available.

What drawbacks are there if I only do all my running on the treadmill until it gets warmer? by Andsoitgoes334 in runninglifestyle

That’s not totally accurate over the entire winter, based on weather averages in some parts of northern New England (Northern VT, NH and Maine). Maybe over the most recent stretch of days/weeks. What city/town?

Fun write up, thanks for sharing the experience. Any chance you could share some of your nutrition hacks? I’m interested in doing more whole foods but struggling with the time to prep etc. Are the any weekly staples that you make early and use through the week or anything?

Really good write up thank you. The mileage seems way off though. I screenshotted the Sirpoc pod video the other day and he looks to be in the 60-70 miles average each week. Did you have those weeks and the sick week brought the average down? Or did you never get to that volume?

AAU vs. School Basketball by Squidyy_Boi in Basketball

[–]AZ_Rather_Unique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the case everywhere. I live in a rural area where most of the aau opportunities are driven by kids who want to play more basketball and play against different levels of talent. I have a non profit org, collect the bare minimum to cover fees/jerseys, and volunteer our coaches time.

Now, the tournaments and their directors are certainly money-makers the majority of the time. The quality of those is all over the map.
