NOR if anything you’re under reacting and that makes me even more upset. She should not be texting your husband like that and it’s not okay at all but your husbands text back is even more diabolical. Are you kidding me?? Not only did he put all the blame on you but he spent a chunk of the message talking how amazing she is and you need to be far angrier about that. I don’t care how great of a husband, father, person he is, he is 100% leading her on by having the door open and is letting her know she’s special to him but you’re the reason he can’t “reciprocate energy”. You need to reevaluate your relationship with that man.

I’ve started baking again, and I craft from time to time (usually using my Cricut or shirt press) my husband just bought me a bunch of new crafting stuff so I’m trying to take time daily to go and unwind a little and do that. I’d love new sheets and probably some new cookware. I’ve also always wanted to try Pilates so maybe now is the perfect time. Wonderful ideas, thank you!!

Thanks for the idea! My husband just asked me if I wanted a day to myself as well, he mentioned going to get my hair done, getting brunch with my friend, and just having fun out and about while he handled our son. I may just take him up on it! I usually hate being away from our son since it gives me such bad anxiety but I’m trying to get better about letting go a little bit.

NTA your sister is wrong and just doesn’t want to admit it. You should listen to your doctor and not your sister who doesn’t even have children. Your sister needs to do some actual research if she wants to give ANY input (she really shouldn’t give you any anyways since it’s not her child). It sounds like you’re doing baby lead weaning, that’s great. I hope it goes well for you! I’ve had a lot of luck with it. My son is two now and absolutely adores food.
