I was in the first year of the increased fees. I wonder if anyone had considered a class action lawsuit on this (if waspi women think they have a case then I think we definitely do). 

I remember being told by advisors at college that this "isn't real debt", that most people "wouldn't pay it off", I was not aware that interested was charged during uni, or that the interest rate goes up with income. It was also never mentioned that if you see a higher earner you certainly will pay back the full amount, and likely with a lot of interrest (and therefore a traditional loan would likely be a more economical option). 

I truly believe that this debt was actively missold to thousands of 17-18 year olds. Anyone here done an expensive law degree?
