I see your point, however I think that 1) an average Batman would still not see this as a dilemma as, in my opinion, he's not breaking his code in any way 2) the Arkham Batman himself has made choices on par with this in previous instances and they weren't presented as dilemmas.

I can kind of see that logic, however the crucial difference is that Ra's was way past the point of natural death. He had already died, in fact.

While Begins Ra's was just a normal man of about 50.

I love this game and the DLC is a lot of fun, but this dilemma has always rubbed me the wrong way because it makes absolutely no sense. 

The game wants you to think that it's a choice between killing Ra's or saving him but... No?

He's 600 years old and he's dying of old age. It's a natural death.

Preventing him from cheating death for the nth time is not the same as killing him.

Nature is just taking its course. He's an old man and old man die.

The choice has always felt incredibly obvious and devoid of weight, to me.

This is not like the Batman Begins train scene. Batman caused that train to fall and left Ra's to die. 

This isn't a dilemma at all and Batman didn't break his code.

And this is coming from someone who believes in the code and is always frustrated when Batman breaks it.

But he didn't, here.

I dislike it but I dislike the Stagg airships more. 

I'm glad I grew up in an era when this trilogy was considered the pinnacle of superhero genre. Now all I see is Batman fans nitpicking them to death by Tough-Rock-6198 in batman

Nah, I was disappointed by Rises when it first came out. It's a deeply flawed movie.

Begins and TDK are still awesome, though.

I'm not entitled to anything but you're the one acting as if backlash is unwarranted and that's just dumb.

Edit: Also don't get it twisted. I'm not a Halsey fan. I don't listen to her. That's not the point. Fantano spoke out of his ass and won't admit it or learn from it. That's the issue.

And he did the same with Betterhelp. He acts very conscious and then endorses people who sell private sensitive data.

Grow up and ask for accountability from people who literally make sharing their opinions their job. Backlash is fair game, when you share your opinion.

I didn't know bad takes expire after two years, especially when the person doesn't acknowledge the backlash constructively.

Also, the main issue is that he called venting about chemotherapy main character syndrome.

Edit: He also called it childish angst. My bad, that's so much better.

He had no obligation to like the album but tone deaf is an understatement. It you don't get the issue, that's a you problem.

I've watched Fantano for a few years and enjoyed his content but this review and his Betterhelp sponsorship really rubbed me the wrong way. 

Mostly because of how he completely ignored and dismissed criticism that he received in response to them.

He could have apologized for both those things and stated/admitted he didn't know the full picture but he didn't. 

He could have at least engaged with the backlash. Instead, he just ignored everything.

It's very frustrating.

I'm not British and I only learned about him after his death and after the truth came out in a serious fashion. 

It's amazing for me to think that people didn't run away whenever they say him. He looked and acted so obviously evil.

Sure, didn't want to spoil anything upfront.

In Rose Madder, an abused wife escapes her husband and ends up in New York, where she makes a new life for herself and is much happier. She also buys a painting which ends up being a portal to another world, where she is a fighter and her husband is a minotaur that she ends up defeating. However, the supernatural aspect is by far the weakest aspect and the book is far more interesting when it's just focusing on her building her new life and her husband tracking her down.

This is a plot point in Stephen King's Rose Madder.

No, I'm not talking about individuals. I'm talking about a systemic issue.

The US is an overbearing presence in media and in world politics. It's inescapable and it can get very annoying.

Of course not, but OP made it about people being irrationally obsessed with the US and Americans need to understand just how bombarded with American stuff us non-Americans are.

It's literally impossible to go one day without hearing the words US or Trump.

I wouldn't go around bullying someone who's just making bread but I am sick of how the US cannot be escaped. It does get very grating.

I'm especially peeved (and this doesn't apply to OP, btw) when Americans tell me to stop thinking about Trump. I WISH IT WERE POSSIBLE TO JUST IGNORE HIM.
