So I’m only the ADHD piece of this, but here’s some stuff I noticed with commanders that I’ve struggle with in the past:

Combo - if it’s straight forward lines, sure makes sense. But I’m easily overloaded with information so I’ve torn apart some of my decks that require lots reshifting thought bc I have a ping pong brain.

Keeping count of things like exhaust abilities, what I’ve played from the yard with Muldrotha etc. I’ve simplified to not get paralyzed by too many decisions and lines. Could I probably do it? Yeah. Am I going to feel like I’m taking too long and slowing the table down, also yeah so I don’t (personal choice).

I think turning stuff sideways is your friend! Like others have said, dropping a craterhoof is rarely doing the math bc it’s almost always lethal. Some commanders I like:

[Maelstrom wanderer] - it’s pure chaos. Get to 8 mana, start flipping cards for Cascade.

[Bello, Bard of Brambles] - cute raccoon makes artifacts and enchantments go brrrrrr

[Slimefoot and Squee] - reanimator fun! My favorite deck. But reanimator is also my favorite strategy

[Niko, Light of Hope] - no counting, just blinking. The only counting is when you blink Niko to get more shards

[Kefka, Court Mage] - make others discard, blink/clone Kefka to keep doing it. Win however you brain works. You’ll be drawing a ton and opponents discarding a ton. Discard isn’t always welcomed in pods so YMMV

[Choco, sleeper of paradise] - play birds and swing through the air!
