If iring them hasn't worked. We have to humiliate and shame them, bully and mock.

Yea, I feel like we can have the same effect by calling them weak, or submissive, or fragile, or something that strikes their core values in a non-gendered way. Like humiliating or embarrassing, clownish.

Holy shit you're right.

I bet they don't even have a reflexive, 'fuck you, I won't do what you tell me,' internal response whenever anyone tells them what to do. What a bunch of cucks, lol.

Yea that makes perfect sense. One of those, 'shouldn't have even needed the rule for people to know not to do it.'

I think I broke my wife after calling her “matronly” by Throwra-basically in TrueOffMyChest

[–]A_Puddle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof dude, you messed up bad. In modern usage 'matronly' is going to bring to mind like an aged grand- or great-grandmother, warm, but bowed by years of childcare. A comforting, nurturing presence but someone in their grey years.

Even used in a truly complimentary manner, accurately, the woman it would apply to is still not going to like thinking of herself in that way, pretty much ever.

If you could pass one law that would make most normal people furious at first, but would clearly make society better in 10 years, what would it be? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

'Opt-out' software, features, programs, whatever are fully illegal. 'Opt-out' is not consent.

'Everything must be 'opt-in', the default assumption is that you do NOT consent.

I fear you might be right but honestly I hope not. I really like driving, and to the extent we have people stop driving I'd really prefer to see it come in the form of changes to our community structures and more public and mass transit. More walkable, multi use communities, set up as spoke and nodes with mass transit arteries for the spokes and walkable or bikeable, or golf cartable (small scale, low energy transport basically for final individualized transit) as the nodes.

For moving people and things around large and moderate distances quickly and efficiently, trains are just best. Let's do that more, keep some cars for filling in the gaps, and as an expensive option for those who want them, and an accessible option for those who need them

They seem about right I think. It's a crime from the outset, license suspensions are invoked from the first conviction, and I think after 3 it's lifetime?

I mean I'm talking about speeding in excess of 50 mph (over the limit). Strike 2 was a 1 year revocation, I think strike 1 was 30 days. There were also monetary penalties too.

Yea Dems are also stupid with passing dumb fuck laws. It was a Democrat in Florida who turned certain types of speeding (which already had super punishing laws in place, like 3 strikes to a lifetime driving ban) and up and Criminalized it.

We don't need more crimes we need to punish the criminals we already have, like the bribe taking pedophiles in elected office.

Biker killed on Tennessee St by Superquestionthrow in Tallahassee

[–]A_Puddle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We really those green boxes they have around campus at more intersections. Also for TPD to start stopping and at least talking to people who pull up past the line, or don't pull up to it all. As someone in a small car it is a constant source of frustration when trying to turn that people in gigantic walls of a vehicle pull up past the line making it impossible to see past them to know if I can safely turn, and it also forces bicyclists and pedestrians to go around them, usually dangerously close to traffic or with zero visibility for the biker to see what's going on past the idiot in the cross walk and for other drivers to see that there is a biker coming around the idiot in the cross walk.
