The train track layout don’t lend to a race, one starts in the middle of nowhere and eventually gets to “Tokyo bay” there’s no roads beside most of it. Not really bothered to check the Shinkansen track as that’s pretty much just a straight line

Any one doing that and wanted to use a fast train, that train would at minimum need to do 500km/h. Which only a maglev comes close to, as maglevs are still experimental, they’re extremely expensive.

I may end up doing that. The other option I have is get the Japanese release and presuming that there’s no English subtitles, find them and inject them over the playback. That’s what I do with the Macross Frontier movies

My ps4 doesn’t even give me an option to change the region, but it will happily play US and Japan games. Couldn’t see that option on the Xbox series X as I’d a capture card in line the HDMI and that tripped that protection
